I have no missions available when I talk to station manager and I don't get any emails about bounty hunting when I start. Do I need to chose a specific start?

Most neutral start : broken bounty hunter.... this will be my next ^^

I want to play this, what are the requirements? is it difficult? any tips from someone who has experience installing it? I'm using the GoG client

When you died you should've just changed zones when you saw you had 5 bandits coming and then keep running. High chance only 1 would follow to the new area. Edit: also you can store some valuables such as gems, earrings etc in your money pouch. And about the coughing villagers and dead animals scattered in the areas around town, you just picked up a quest about the plague :D

I love this game but they should give you the ability to hire pilots that you can save if their ship gets blown up. I like what they did with tech points. I just got back into it haven't got a large ship yet and almost have all the fighters unlocked. Its really good but could use some small tweaks.

Unfortunately, this is a game with a lot of potential, but lacks clear vision. The length of time this game has been in beta suggests the devs had and have a hard time making solid foundations for long-term gameplay for players.

I don't think it's necessary to reinstall the game etc. Maybe just update the game, verify game files, get a new version of the mod and add it (nice and easy if you have Mod Organiser) but I believe you'd need to purge your saves if you change EfZ version. Also I can confirm game version 1.0.10 and EfZ version 1.15a.7 works together. Btw I just checked and there's a new EfZ version: "Turned off armors drop of Green Army, Crimson, Hunters and the Blueberry bois for testing purpose (Hunter Difficulty gonna be a little harder)"... oh crap.

Fhiach I want to play this game, but I keep getting crashes. Like one every 30 minutes or so, it's very frustrating.

This looks amazing, with tge mods i saw for the x3 games they put new ships in but not the weapons that you saw on those ships or the sounds just default game weapons. This really does look amazing!!

Well this looks neat.

The Clone Wars overhaul of the Kathun mod feels very unfinished, even down to using Imperial banners to represent the CIS. Feels a bit more like a random sandbox of star was stuff thrown together in a blender than an actually curated/authentic experience.

Something I really value in X4 is the own perspective which also translates to the mod. You did a campaign also I did one. The sectors were playing at are barely touching. You got a totally different perspective of the factions than in my campaign and also your personal influence shaped the universe in another way than my campaign.❤
