If you had transferred to the light rail at central station (L1 line) it would have taken you to Convention stop which is next to the Sofitel. But then you do see more walking, even if that first left turn to the Cenotaph was in the opposite direction to your hotel!

We needed you as our guide! Got a little lost to begin with. We love walking, you get to experience more of the place you're visiting.

Did you see any spectacular lightning storms in Uluru Ayers Rock in the southern part of the Australia’s Northern Territory? I loved to watch the lightning storms outside when it rains and watch the kangaroos in central Australia. Lightning is fun to watch and watch it safe in Yulara by the Ayers Rock Resort in north of Uluru- Kata -Tjuta and it is beautiful to watch in the sky when it the rains come and the summer get most of the rain falling during the heat of the day making the cluster of dark clouds build in the summer afternoons and the storms bring heavy rain and lightning and sound effects of the rolling of thunder when the lightning flashes and the thunder crashes in the loud noises after the lightning. Lightning is the nature’s high voltage and exceeds more than over hundred million volts of electricity and can be very dangerous especially in the water for swimming and also away from trees when the lightning strikes because trees are attracted to lightning during storms. Do you love lightning?

That van looked really dingy, but that's Norseman for you and we've had worse.

So have we. It's good to have bottom, so you can enjoy the top! Most of the decent places seemed to have been booked by the mining company type workers.

That building is not an art centre it’s the SAHMRI building for medical research.

It is the time of the year gets the summer thunderstorms 🌩️ and be careful to watch it safe during the extreme weather conditions in Uluru - Kata Tjuṯa and we live in California in the west don’t get much of the weather like that and it same like the Arizona monsoon and seeing the spectacular lightning shows in Uluru or Ayers Rock in the Australia’s Northern. Aborigines are discouraged not to climb Uluru because it is one of the sacred sites in Central Australia.
