You have just saved me 300-1000 dollars on a garage door repair. My garage door lights/main panel/ everything was not working. So, I plugged a lamp in the socket, and it did not work. That told me that it was not the garage door. The GFI socket in my garage had flipped and the little red light was on. Thank you so much.

Why does 4 remote are hard to open, takes many press or doesnt open at all, even when you stand in front of the garage, we have a cratsman.

My problem is the motor spin but the belt seem to not moving and wont engage the chain wheel to spin? Its never happen before. The belt is tight and the wheel that hold the belt spin but the belt dont?

I replaced the wall opener , it lights up but still won’t work the door, I tried programming it, didn’t work, thankfully my remotes still do but now I took the wall switch off and now the light on the opener stays on, the old switch didn’t work, the new one didn’t work, not the light either so I took it off to send it back but now the light stays on, I’m 🤷🏻‍♀️ at this point. I’ll just use my remotes, I’m not paying a guy hundreds to do a stupid fix I should be able to figure out, I’m just too aggravated right now Oh I just looked again , it’s off now ! Took longer than usual. 🤦🏻‍♀️

40-4515 is the part number for the tank assembly, but the left hand (LH) handle shown in the video is part number KOHLER, 84625-CP LH, RIVERTON, STANTON, AND WIDHAM TOILET TRIP LEVER, CHROME. I had to get this exact replacement for its low profile so the toilet seat doesn't fall down on its own.

Why is water spewing out when istart unscrewing the hose from faucet whenthe water is OFF?????

Are we the only ones who have tried all of these tips and still not working? Remote and wall console stopped working after trying to program new outdoor key pad. Opener works pushing up down arrows on the opener. Remote opens the other 2 doors properly. Programmed with no luck! Unplugged no luck. Changed bulb no luck. Legacy 2026

Can you help me with my garage door?

Genie 3305 here. Garage was flooded and sensors were under water. See red light flashing two times. Changed sensor, remounted higher using tape measure at 5 1/2". Still flashing two times. Could the water have shorted the circuit board out at the sensor wiring? Maybe extended short could do that? Maybe time to replace the opener since about ten years old but was working fine. Great video. Sound and lighting are grreat. I appreciate this.

Hello, thank U for sharing the video with the mistakes, made it more learning actually on the details. May I ask, where did U purchase the door's weather stripping with all the choices of sizes? And where did U get the vinyl door sweep? My local home depot only has metal which makes cutting a lot more complicated. Though I do not know how long the vinyl may last for exterior door expose to the sun.

I have changed the sensors and the lights seems right to me.. one is red and the other is green. but when I press the wall console (wireless); all i hear is clicking sound.. I have legacy 650 and WIRELESS WALL CONSOLE, OVERHEAD DOOR - 39903R. the light bulb is working (power) is there.. I press the opener remote, I hear the click sounds.. nothing else. my opener is only 2 months old.

you are just lucky to have the stop valve screwed into the pipe, mine used soldering to the pipe, the box is plastic, there is no way to use a flame at all, can't understand why those idiots install the valve using soldering with a plastic box.
