Hi, not to sure how much you keep up with these videos, but I see you have a different shifter? I’m trying to replace my crappy Amazon shift lever with a better one, do you possibly remember what shift lever you have ?

The support truck is a great idea. These bikes don't carry much unless you bulk them up with bags or cases. My sledding tours always had a support truck & trailer.

i installed the Acerbis 3.7 gal tank on my 2015 drz400s yesterday. The tank I received differs from yours. Look at vid at 5:42. Your tank has the rear mount point as an extension of the tank. The tank I got does not do that. My tank has a 2nd metal bracket that attaches to rear of tank and then gets fastened to frame( same as OEM). I had no issues mounting this tank. In any case, isn't the most important thing how the tank functions once installed? I am going to go with the petcock supplied with the new tank, but will keep an eye on it over the 1st several months. Thanks for the video. Hope you enjoyed the MABDR! I'm planning on northern cal BDR later this year....IF the snow ever melts:)
@3PedalDevils7 ай бұрын
Interesting that they're a bit different! Glad you didn't have any issues mounting yours. Functionality and reliability are the most important with a tank like you said, and mine has been working just fine after I got it to fit! The MABDR was incredible. Have fun with the Northern Cal BDR, sounds like a good one!

Got me itchin for the season. Did y'all camp near this trail? Got some newer buddies I might try to take on this one.
@3PedalDevils8 ай бұрын
Us too!! Yeah we've camped here a couple times. Check out "Chippewa Campground." I think it's a National Forest Service campground, so it's very cheap and it's right on the trail. You can also dispersed camp in this area and we've done that before too.
@maciekzdeb8 ай бұрын
In Medrord? Looking for something right off the trail so me and me 9 year old can explore.
@3PedalDevils8 ай бұрын
Chippewa Campground is an organized campground right off the northern part of the trail. Otherwise, I believe you can camp almost anywhere in the Chequamegon Nicolet National Forest (which the trail is in). There's also the "Chequamegon Waters Dispersed Recreation Area" that is close by, but on the other side of the lake from the trail. There looked like some potential nice pull off areas where you could set up camp along the trail if you didn't like those other options. Sounds like a fun time though, hope you make it out there and enjoy it as much as we have!
