Some tips I’m not hating!you always have to keep your heels down and wear boots also wear any kind of pants as if you wear those (forgot what they were called) it might rub your legs and could give you rashes like it did to me again I’m not hating just wanted to correct things❤

Please put a piece of dark cloth through the ring and do a close up with the ring held still so I can see it properly. There are 4 of these explanations of these rings but no close up. Please?

I didn't know it was bad luck to buy your own but I bought one that has two other stacked rings with it and it has my husband's birthstone in it and I wear it when I can't wear my wedding ring.

I got one from Claddagh as a kickstarter reward funding a movie. Does this count as buying it for myself or was it a gift?

You have to speak southern English or RP or they don't understand a word you're saying. I don't have a strong regional accent for my area anyway but even I, someone from the east midlands in England, have to put on more of a RP accent to be understood when speaking to non native speakers.

My aunt Sara (aka my Witch Aunt) gave me one when i was a baby! I started wearing it when i was 13ish, and my mom taught me how to wear it correctly. And then i met my girlfriend and wore it the second way and all my family assumed i was dating a guy even though i told them i am gay.

I read a story about claddagh rings in 2nd grade and knew I wanted one from then on. When my wife and I had been dating for a year, she bought me one, and when we got married, I used it as my wedding ring ❤

My mother got me my first claddagh ring when I was 18 and I’ve worn one ever since. Unfortunately, my ring size changed, so I had to buy a new one in a different size this year, but I’m keeping the original one for sentimental value. Mom approved of the new one, so hopefully the good old Irish luck is still there even though I bought this one myself ❤

I have a very important question. My stepmother had a beautiful clagdah ring that was supposed to govto me when she passed. But her biological kids took all of her jewelry. And that ring disappeared. I was telling this story to a sweet elderly gentleman who sold jewelry, and I pointed at one of his rings that had a heart in it, And said, the stone was almost like that one. I was by his shop again a week later and he pulled me aside. He had taken the stone out of the heart ring and put it into a clagdah ring, did his best to guess my size and sold it to me. Almost identical to my stepmother's ring. The ring that was supposed to have been mine. Is it still at that point?Bad luck that I bought it for myself

I bought my own claddagh ring from the National Museum of Ireland. It’s a sterling silver one. I’m not waiting on anyone to buy me anything. I have my own money. I see it, I like it, I wanted it, I got it 🎉

What if your claddagh ring gets stolen?, are you allowed to replace it?, or do you have to wait until someone gets you another one?.

I got the pleasure to study abroad in Ireland in 2017 and my mom bought me (thank goodness, I didn’t know it was bad luck to buy your own!!) an original Thomas Dillons claddagh ring that I haven’t taken off since! I’m now engaged and am so relieved I’m wearing it correctly still! One French girl told me I was wearing it wrong but I knew she was full of it because the staff taught me how to wear it properly!!

I love that basically every culture has some sign of symbol tk show a relationship status. In Austrian and Bavarian traditional clothing, the sash of the apron is tied on different spots (left front, right front, back middle) depending on your relationship status.
