Where is this temple exactly located in Bhotay Busty. I tried to figure it out but failed. Because during our days 1986-1996, I don’t think we had this temple there. There was one naag ko mandir infront of Gaddi line, i hope they won’t feel offended, apologies for calling this name but then it was known as gaddi line only.

That isn’t a temple. That samaaj ghar ma navratri puja by our samaj. Yes there still is Shiv Temple in front of ‘Gaddi line’ 🤣

Kasto chinnu man paryo timi kasko chhora ho bhanera. I spent my childhood there. But my mom was from Bhotay Busty. Junu Aazi bhanera she was known. And I am her youngest daughter now settled in the Nederlands. Hope to visit Darjeeling soon. Mero mama ko ghar is just above Gumba. I was known as Binu but my official name is Binita Sotang.

Laai lha. This is the second oldest Bhutia monastery in Darjeeling after Ghoom Monastery. It’s looked after and managed by Govt of Sikkim though it’s in Darjeeling.

Thank you brother for the appreciation. The rains have subsided now, but it doesn’t seem to be over yet. Major major devastations have occurred in North and East Sikkim along with the Teesta Areas of Darjeeling, West Bengal.
