I just made this. My batter didn’t turn out as thick as in the video. It’s a bit runny. I added a few tablespoons of flour to thicken it but no luck. I hope it comes out fine from the oven. First time baking a cake here.

Update, it didn’t grow. It was thin. I still used it to practice coating but what did I do wrong? I used cake flour btw.

Absolutely love this recipe. I used self raising flour instead of plain flour and the texture is a bit different for sure 😅. I like the texture of the cake that was made up of plain flour though 😊.
