Could You add Jiři Raška jump from this competition? I can't believe this but according to wikipedia he started in this competition at age 53! And even took 36th place! If this is true, it's something amazing and I'll be really grateful if you add Raška's jump. In the same competition jumped 44 years old Jindřich Balcar too and finished on 50th, it would be nice to see him too.Cheers 🙂

Apparently they measured distances in full meters back then, at least on that ski flying hill.

Nigdy nie rozumiałem zasady oceniania sędziów w tamtych latach, zawodnik, który skok podparł, bądź zaliczył upadek czasami dostawał wyższe noty niż ten, który skok wylądował.

After Espen`s jump that was 10,5 meter further than the K-point and with a great telemark, the commentator asks what it takes to get a perfect 20. Only 1 judge gave 20, so what more do you have to do to get 20, he asks. The answer is obvious, you need a name. He didn`t have it at that time.

He was 31 years and 345 days old in Lahti at 1.3.1992. <<<>>>> Ole born exactly 7 days and 27 = 3 x 3 x 3 years for me. I feel a very strong spiritual connection to him!!!

Bra at du fikk tak i dette klippet. Husker jeg så dette på tv da det ble sendt. Alltid kjekt å høre duoen Scheie/Herwig Carlsen. Kanskje den beste duoen i det hele tatt.

Var ikke mange som hadde trodd at Bredesen skulle ta 2 gull i Falun etter fiaskoen i Albertville året før. Det fikk de svi for etter at det norske laget viste at de kunne fly med den nye V-stilen.
