Usually when you drive and have the fan on it will pull more air in to keep your temps on

don’t know what ecu you’re using. but you have a css so you need to select alternate speed input in KPro and/or get a vss converter so you can crack vtec. or (short term solution) just disable it in kpro to see if vtec is functioning if your thermostat is still installed 2000rpm could be from engine overheating. could try removing and reinstalling. food for thought. just tryna help. good luck
