I doubt Secrid is a better system. Bottom switch devices are terrible designs. These wallets main purpose is not for storing bills. However, storing bills in this format has been the best solution over other wallets of this type. I have over 75+ wallets to be able to make a clear distinction on what works better and what doesn't. And it's still my opinion.

@ Opinions are good, and I respect yours. My opinion is that this is a very nice unit, but not the best thing since sliced bread. I would wait for at one more evolution cycle to see how they arrive at a better cash storage solution. This was the killer for me. Thanks for showing the product.

@@michaelwaller6093 No doubt. with time, products usually get better and better. Honestly, most people that utilize these switch operated wallets don't focus too much on the "Bill" storage. For me, it was a big deal because most minimalist wallets forced me to fold my bills 3 times which I really disliked. For this wallet, it allowed me to fold just in half (which was a winner) and then "lock" on the cards is a BIG bonus because most credit cards will slide out of many switch wallets because cards don't have groves on them to hold them in place. Everyone always has their preference and my 1 & 2 were the cash folding in half and the lock switch.

Yes - the new Reserve card material is not the same as the old Palladium metal card. These changes are due to JP Morgan Chase cutting back cost which is ridiculous since not many clients even have the Reserve card.

@@AVTProjects dang, I'm still using my Old one that looks like it's been run over by a car. Saw your video and ordered a new one, but was kind of assuming it was plastic on the back. The JP rep did say "metal front and back" on the design notes, so maybe it changed again since you got yours...I doubt it though

@@herbieverstinks4468 Definitely do not trust the executive lines information. I've called them out multiple times on misinformation. I can't say for certain what the back material is but I can definitely say it is NOT full 1 piece metal. I've been seeking to leave JP Morgan Reserve and trying to get to Amex Centurion Reps. It's not been easy getting to them but I'd gladly dish all my spending on Centurion if given the opportunity now. I atleast will know that their information will always be uniform. JP Morgan Reserve executive just doesn't pay much attention to these clientele therefore to me, spending the money on their line isn't worth my time.

@@AVTProjects I do like how a human answers the phone after like 1 ring which is like a lost art of customer service though. The redesigned JPM reserve card I have basically looks like the old palladium on the front, but it's plastic on the back (like the Amex platinum) to allow for the contactless purchases. It's way thinner than that darker brushed gray one that you also had in the video. That one almost had the weight of the original, but this new one feels like thin aluminum (at least the one I received in early 2024). I don't think the benefits of Centurion at this point warrant the upfront cost and annual fee...

Don't think I'm confusing it. I have both. :) YM2 two-tone happens to be my favorite watch and color combo. The YM1 is not certainly not the popular Rolex family member. But nonetheless, I happen to like unpopular things.

It's such a personal preference but in my opinion, ROLEX has one of the best mixtures for Rose gold (Everrose). I would honestly tell you I only love the Everrose in Rolex.

I absolutely agree with you about the comfort level on the YM. It's also a very simple watch which is why I enjoy it so much. Simple just like the Submariners.

Hello - sorry I actually don't recall as I have purchased this along time ago. It was actually custom made for me a long time ago. There are many out there in the market nowadays that are ultra comparable if not even nicer.

Yes it's larger than most sliding wallets, but I was actually more interested in this wallet because it was larger, has the "lock" switch, and can hold cash only folded "half size".

Hello- most people in real life don't know I posses this JPMR card. Therefore the "prestige" of showing it off doesn't relate to me. I don't feel anyone needs to show anything off in "real" life. Cash remains King all the time. However, yes the card does bring some value if you travel and utilize those types of benefits. I'd like to transition to AMEX Centurion if anyone has a way to get me to bypass all the loop-holes of using the AMEX Platinum just to get into Centurion. If they want my business, they should be able to honor me into the Centurion from my JPMR. JPMR customer relations is simply just bottom trash so that's the reason why I'd love to get out of JPMR.

Thank you for watching the video. If this is the type of wallet you've been looking for and wanting to use, this would be an excellent option. It checks my boxes. The MagSafe is quiet strong with my Pelican phone case on. I don't seem to be concerned about the magsafe but I must say, I don't really use the magsafe feature. I keep my wallet in my pocket. The highlight of this wallet to me is definitely the switch lock feature to secure my cards.

I'm glad the video was helpful. The King's edition (Black and Gold) is certainly going to be classic color choice! I feel I have so many black wallets. Nowadays, colors is how I like my accessories. Also, if this suggestion is a valid one for you. As the colored leathers wear down by use, it creates so much character. Nonetheless, these wallets are amazing. That "Lock" switch is such a huge game changer for me because I'm constantly like I needed to monitor other brands wallets to make sure my card did not fall out. With the Double Oak wallets, you don't have to if you put the lock switch order. Good Luck with your choice either way. I'm a huge fan of these.

Well you would honestly hope they took the feedbacks seriously but honestly it's a hit or miss. Some of their executive associates manage communication very well while the other executives are no better than a Sears customer call center. I'm dealing with a situation right now that their executive associate gave me the wrong information causing me a massive headache on my end for some things. I've been waiting for the executive department manager to contact me back and they are afraid to because I requested them to pull the phone recording down from my last phone contact with their executive member to listen to how I was misinformed with many information causing me some disruptions. I'm still waiting on their call to say "I'm sorry, too bad, deal with our fuck up".

The one you received is plastic on the back correct? The original was the best with our signatures engraved on the back, but I believe the newest one you received is fully plastic on the back and super flexible, right? Not like the OG Palladium or older JPM Reserve Card

Thanks for watching. Tudor - great entry level luxury/sport brand. I'd say do look so much at brands. Go for the watch if it wears well and you like the quality of the entire piece. Most the people buying watches today are just for clout. They don't even know why they own a Patek, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron, Rolex, etc. They like these watches to post on the gram. I have many watches that I enjoy, not just the watches that are jaw dropping. I will have a another watch video posting up soon to show people another side of my watch passion.

Thank you. IMO Rolex did a very very soft 2024 release this year just to "have" something released. They are all boring to me and I feel they didn't do anything special. Putting jewels on the daytona is nothing new, and nothing special. These are unobtainable for the general public. I believe 2025 will be a bang for many bands.
