While this version is amazing, it doesn’t get any better than the solo acoustic version from the Steamboat Music Fest. SUCH a good song and one of the best voices.

Nice stripped-down version of the song. I’d wonder if it started out sounding like this during the writing process. God bless.

When you look like George Strait ...but sound like Bobby Blue Bland. Killer vocal timbre and fine guitar work AND a smokin' band. Definitely on my list. Nice work fellas.

you have a good voice, and you might have a career as a Chris Stapleton-meets-George Strait act. But for godsake - don't ever do Whoopee River Bottom Land again. You raped it. Sucked all the soul and funk right out of it. That had to be the whitest performance I've ever heard. All hat, no cattle.

Brother you have no idea how much this song has impacted me and many others. I am best friends with the grandson of Albert E Brumley and I have heard many gospel songs as well as hymns and this is one of the best ever. By the way I showed Harold Shedd and he flipped over it. You are also one of the best male vocalist on the planet. I would love to meet you sometime. Thanks for all you do!
