LATER During the War of 1812-15 Battle of Queenston Heights after General Brock was killed Lt Colonel John Alexander MacDonnell of Lt Colonel John Alexander MacDonnell Repulsed the Fledgling American USA 🇺🇸 Army Invaders sending them back across the Niagara River Border from whence they came! Unfortunately Lt.Colonel John Alexander MacDonnell was wounded and subsequently died and was Buried Alongside General Brock inside the Queenston Heights Battlefield Monument! Each Year the Glengarry Highlanders Fencibles Regiment holds the Largest Massed Pipes and Drums Band Gathering outside of Scotland each Year (Pictured below)

I actually discovered this amazing band on a local radio station on St. Patrick’s Day several years ago. I immediately looked them up online.

Remember singing this when I was young, and instead of before you we sang afore you.
