LATER During the War of 1812-15 Battle of Queenston Heights after General Brock was killed Lt Colonel John Alexander MacDonnell of Lt Colonel John Alexander MacDonnell Repulsed the Fledgling American USA 🇺🇸 Army Invaders sending them back across the Niagara River Border from whence they came! Unfortunately Lt.Colonel John Alexander MacDonnell was wounded and subsequently died and was Buried Alongside General Brock inside the Queenston Heights Battlefield Monument! Each Year the Glengarry Highlanders Fencibles Regiment holds the Largest Massed Pipes and Drums Band Gathering outside of Scotland each Year (Pictured below)
