@@TVRaceOn kyllä arvokas moottori, jos sattuu heti rikkoontumaan niin valmistajalla pitäis olla vastuu ainakin osittain korvata remontti? Tarkat ohjeet annettu moottorin lämmitys käytöstä millä kierroksilla saa käyttää ennen kuin normaali käyntilämpötila saavutettu.

una bonita adaptacion pero a mi me gustaria mas que un ingeniero diseñara una culata desde cero multivalvula sohc i que el motor pìnto no perdiese su aspecto exterior, pero es una bonita manera como mecanico hacer los que as hecho adaptar esa culata volvo multivalvula a un viejo block pinto de ford.

I commented on your other video so ignore it lol. Found the Dyno. I had an XR4Ti that I got the esslinger head for. Had a bunch of work done to it but was still running the stock turbo. On the stock head and stock cam I made 242hp 278ftlbs on the Dyno at 17psi. I miss that car. Should have Dyno it after the head, Front mount intercooler, and other stuff. Awesome vid man. I’m planning on building one here again soon but I think esslinger doesn’t make those heads anymore. The Volvo head seems promising though

Are yall having any problems running only one oil feed line to the head? I read that some people were having problems with the exhaust cam and lifeters not getting enough oil pressure at high rpm.. They supposedly solved it by adding another oil line to the otherside of the head..

Awesome way to beef up a lima 4. Is it worth it to get a 2.5L from a ranger or crate? I know you can just stroke the very common 2.3L but I'm told the 2.5L is the most modern incarnation of the old pinto engine and maybe there's something worth having on it?

+justletmeuseit I just have that ranger engine and it was 2.5l at stock. Later I have built new engine with eslinger race block. Ranger block give 823hp in dyno but sylinder craks quartermile pull obaut 740hp power. Now engine with esslinger block giwe 933hp in dyno.

yeah i didnt see the beginning of the video the first time where it says that its an esslinger block. Esslinger is only about a 20 min drive from me. was there a reason for not going larger this time? I mean if your putting a billet crank in why not go big? what bore did you use?

TVRacing so what was breaking?? crank or block? its really good you got the stock stuff to survive as long as it did.... you konw a ford 302 v8 is known to have block failures beyond 500hp... the little pinto/ranger that could beats that with ease..... but whats the actual number?

EnglertRacing96 When that was stock 2,5 lima short block there come cylinder crack when I driwe quartermile pull 8,7s/245kmh, then there was about 740hp in use (1,8bar boost) dyno pull was 823hp 2,3 bar boost.

Kytkinkopan tein jo OHC koneelle aikanaan niin että käy pintokin, niiden keskenäinen ero on pieni. Vanha drag race street sääntö oli että moottori tulee olla saman merkkinen kuin auto (ellei muutoskatsastettu) ja aftermarket kannet sallittu. Tuon rangerin vakio lohko on volvon vakioo kestävämpi ja pintoon saa kestävää kisalohkoo sekä pitkäisku kampiakselia huomattavasti volvon kisalohkoo edullisemmin.

Miettiny jo pidemmän aikaa, et mikä on ideana käyttää fordin lohkoa, eikä volvon omaa ja nähdä noin paljon vaivaa sovittaa toi kansi ja lohko toisiinsa? Kun kerran valmiitakin huomattavasti helpommin saatavilla (täälläpäin maailmaa) olevia suoraan sopivia ja vähintääkin yhtä kestäviä lohkoja on nurkat notkollaan ja kattavat valikoimat kisa-osia (pitkäiskukampurat jne.) saa lähempääkin. Vai onko kyse jostain kilpailusäännöstä, joka pakottaa siihen? Hattua nostan jokatapauksessa.

@DarkPrince013 There have to make new pipe in head with lubricant pressure oil and cam pulleys was not same line vith crank shaft pulley. Head bolts are same plases. Engine block is longer than cylinder head, that difference is in bellhousing end, and there must be plug up some water holes. See pictures my website.
