Now i know whether it is India or usa , condition of farmers is the same.😔😔😔. They are the reason we get food but this job doesn't ensure food for them.

Paying down your principal should not be considered an expense. It’s more of a forced savings.

You are not dumb at all my friend. This is great material for the community online. I’m not in farming business by any means but I just want to say thank you for your video. I feel like I learned a lot! Keep up the good work buddy!

awesome video, its cool to see all the processes of farming. What's the purpose of the sickle mower being offset and not directly behind the tractor like most tools? Just curious, it seems less efficient.

So you aren’t running over the crop before the mower comes through. Once the mower passes there is a little bit of room for the tires to pass without running it over.

In my neighborhood that tractor would be no more than $2500 tops, if you want a four-wheel drive that's decent with a front loader 95 or newer, around 5-6 Grand every time. I got my international 234 all-wheel drive with a front loader for 800 bucks, it needed a clutch and glow plugs.

The bigger ones are cheap because not many people can haul them. The smaller tractors are very expensive because more people can haul them I think.

Whenever you buy something used even a farm land. Just replace the whole tile. That way you have all new water ways and you'll know it'll drain

As long as outside the farm you ca make the payments once your land is paid off it should be profitable so long as the hear in question remains typical. The problem is even without the loan you are clearing less than 10k. This is the yough part for young farmers, the buy in is high and the pay off is not that huge unless you buy in a massive amount. Anything you start here is in a lot of ways just hoping to have something to lea e to the next generation.

I would not factor in the land appreciation. I'd think of it as you own two businesses; 1 a realestate speculation business (buy land and hold for capital accumulation) and 2. a farming business (sow and harvest crops). Imagine you and I buy both buy identical 50 acre farms next to each other. Same price $396k. I dont farm mine - just run the realestate business. At the end of the day - I make more money than you. Your farming business cost you money and the realestate business made things better. Farming seems such an unviable business... world over. At least u are better off then Clarkson's farm in the UK! It has worse economics.
