people should be careful vacuuming up flammable material. I heard a story of a painter that got burned real bad. The vacuum motor sparked and ignited vapors

Just found this. Im in Australia and have made lucerne(you call it alfalfa) hay for over 45 years. You MUST dry the stems then bale when the dew comes back to keep the leaf on. Sap in the stalk is the biggest cause of heating and fire in baled hay. And it MUST be under 15% to store in a stack. Try to mow with a crimper conditioner to speed up stem drying. And make firm bales and sell by the ton. We can get up to 8 cuts year out here as our climate is a lot warmer than yours.

if you're gonna factor in land price fluctuation, you might as well just do 0 farming on it and just calculate what the land is worth

Most farmers inherit their land, equipment and everything else from their parents, extremely few farmers start from scratch unless they're a multi millionaire who suddenly wants to start it as a hobby or lifestyle.

I looked up the msda safety sheets for the chemicals you're spraying, and it blows me away that no one was wearing masks and protective skin covering while spraying and refilling the drone.

Why did you knock down the trees? Don't they provide erosion protection and wind protection? I'm really sorry to hear about the theft of your truck and tools. That totally sucks. And you're right - losing the tools is worse than the truck. The truck is easier to replace. The tools, not so much.

Great to see the finance side of farming. Most people don't see the cost of farming. They just see the price at the store. For me this is the first time I've seen KZbin finances in any video. Do you do any live streaming while working?

in my country farming isnt worth it if you dont have 100h of land and huge tractors, all the people with small machines bancrupted, even farmers with 100h still sometimes lose money sometimes make barely anything
