David Lonsdale is a neighbour of mine, he lives around the corner from me. I bumped into him about 5-6 years ago whilst walking my dog. As he walked towards me, I thought I recognised him from somewhere, then the penny dropped. I said to him, "Ah! I know that face- 'David' from Heartbeat!" His face lit up and he shook my hand, he was very friendly and down to earth- we chatted for a few minutes. He works on radio and writes these days.

Alice Barrett did not play Ann O'Donnell on Another World. She was Frankie Frame.. She married Cass Winthrop...and Amanda Cory was portrayed by Sandra Ferguson. Her name was not Sandra Dee Robinson....

All of these actors and actresses have played very vital roles on this show. I wish it was airing somewhere right now. Definitely miss this show! A complete A+!

Absolutely brilliant viewing Heartbeat was in the mid to early 90s I still watch it to this day when it is repeated on tv a classic drama to my mind that will never age 😊

Started watching it in 1964..watched it for many years..loved it ..liked... Rachael and Mac. Alice and steve...Rachael s mother. Rachael changed after she married Mac.(She was in love with(at beginning) Steve. But he always loved Alice. remember Iris also. 😡

A lot of the older cast of niegbours cast are originally from England and Ireland settlers many left the miserable UK to Australia for a better life and sun and fresh air .

The first picture shown of character Roman Brady is of Wayne Northrop who played the first and original role from 1981-84. Drake Hogestyn played Roman Brady (who is now John Black on the show ) from 1986-91 . Northrop returned to the role from 1991-94, and now Josh Taylor who is the second picture you posted has played Roman Brady from 1997 to present time. I have been watching Days Of Our Lives since the 60's when it was in black and white. 🙂😄
