It definitely looks like a cherry blossom. The apple blossom has longer stamen. The plumeria doesn’t have any stamen or anything like that showing in its center. At first I thought dogwood but most dogwoods have four petals and have more of a Pom Pom in the center. Hope that helps. 💖

A little disappointed that you did not show in more detail how the end pieces of the banner go together and attach. You showed the lower right, but not the top left. Also would have liked it if you’d gone a little slower in more detail how to attach the middle pieces that attach to the back of the banner! Which side is up?

I say egg with the short “E” sound. Never heard it pronounced with an “A” sound before. I grew up in the Western United States and now live in SoCal. I think east of the Mississippi and the Midwest have more regional dialects than west of the Rockies. Then there’s the South. Funny thing is England having far fewer people and less land has the most dialects of English speaking countries and when you broaden it out to all of the UK? Whoa Nelly! Thank goodness for captions. Today I learned that the most linguistically diverse country in the world is Papua New Guinea with 840 different languages spoken across the islands despite only having a population of about 9 million. My favorite card background was on the lemon drop card. Love the color blend. I really liked “Have yourself a merry little cocktail” and “You had me at martini “. My favorite card overall was the “I’m just here for the boos” one. Great sentiment-- a pun that actually made me smile. I also liked how you made Yana’s poppy press plate a perfect background for Halloween. And the cocktail was loads of fun. All of the cards were enjoyable and I think most people would be delighted to receive any of them. I have never been much of a drinker and now I cannot drink at all. Pity since cocktails always seem like so much fun. It’s the accoutrements. I love pomp and ritual. When I was checking out Spellbinders cocktail release I thought it was fun but didn’t make much sense for me. Plus I already have dies for citrus, sprigs, cocktail sticks, etc. But I don’t have a martini glass or a skeleton hand. I wouldn’t make a whole lot with either one, but I think it is fun to figure out how to make something with a similar vibe with my stash. Here’s what I landed on: For cocktail glasses separate the bowl from the stem and you most likely have dies that fit the bill. In my dies I found that the bottom of hearts and certain ornaments make a pretty good martini glass. I can have all kinds of fun building a stem from a variety of linear dies. I also have a number of dies that could stand in for the foot of the glass. The skeleton hand is much harder. I don’t have much in the way of Halloween. Not my thing. I settled on switching it up and just going for a creepy hand because I have a number of dies that cut out hands. Ever since Tim Holtz released his Abstract Faces, I’ve been looking at my dies just as shapes. It’s amazing what you find you can create if you just look at your dies as shapes and don’t adhere to the script that comes along with the dies. Ornament dies are wonderfully versatile. I’ve made vases, perfume bottles, and flower petals. I really get a kick out of seeing if I make something from my stash. Thanks for the marvelous inspiration 😊

27:37 I got the caboodle this month and last month but only the embossing folder from the one before that. Previous to that I generally got only one or two club kits.

today i was using my club kit colorful splash..Do you have it? I made 4 cards fronts and none of them came out good in the yellow section,so i tried a shim,same ugh!! switched to a different color foil and it came out perfect...if you have this set how did your foil work,

I was finally able to pick up this die set! Can’t wait for it to show up. I’m thinking it could be used for Rugby shirts too!

I typically get the stitched dies and the press plates. This month I wasn’t a fan of the stitched die so I order the embossing folder instead. Since I’m a club member I went and bought some of the stitched dies from previous months.

It’s hard to believe it’s time for you to go back to your Kindergarteners. It seems like you just closed out your classroom for the summer.

Halloween with the unmentionable color was scary - but not as scary with the color of red used - if it were a darker cranberry red then it would be totally spooky. Love the cards!
