Nice mix. Next level is to throw in same key vocal from another track in it use as acapella and to do a build up and drop it with another track. It be more interesting that way so you won’t have a silence break down .

Trop de flanger, tue le flanger mdr c est horrible de l'entendre sur tout les morceaux. Mettre les deux basse a certain moment tu flinguera les HP sur une sono. Pas trop de punch ni de créativité. Le choix des morceaux sont vraiment bien mais t'as technique et trop repetive. Aucune prise de risque. Defois faut ose pour pas être trop linéaire dans le mix. Car les gens vont s'ennuyer. Mais s'il te plaît arrête avec ton flanger 😂

Hi nice review ! Question how do we resolve the low headphone issue of the mk3 version ? I read somewhere that by using the charger volume is increased significantly ... is that correct ? Thanks ! Philippe

If you search for "Firmware Updater for Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3" there's an update for the controller that addresses this issue. At the moment, the latest version is 1.4.0, released in June 2022. My updated S2 MK3 headphone output can get uncomfortably loud running from USB power, with mid-sensitivity headphones (Numark Redwave).

Dope nice... and because youre video and nice mix i'm now about thinking to sell my gear and to buy a s2 mk3... but im unsure because 3,5mm headphone out only, only 1 master out and only 1 effect knob? but ok to control fx i can made a custom midi controller outside but no booth out, no 6,5mm head out, no xlr mic input? But ok, maybe that are problems that arent problems, because y-cable & co and adapters :o :D and nice rescued/saved on 11:00 :D

I enjoyed it. I’ve decided to scale down my equipment, way down!! So I ordered this equipment. It’s not just for “beginners” it’s also good for us mix djs who just want a minimal set up for mixing our favorite tracks or preparing sets. This video proves that.

hey man, I like the fact that you created this for the fun, however I would not play as much with the samples that way, I think you need to practice staying on beat. another thing I would not use alot is that flanger fx, it kidna ruins the track for me (maybe it's just me). but generally, awesome music dude I like the tracks used in this video! and tbh I consider buying the Kontrol S2 MK3, would you recommend it to me? I currently have the s2 mk1, but I dunno whether I should actually upgrade to the DDJ-400...

Hi man. Thx for the feedback. Regarding recomendation of console it depends on your needs. This is just entry level but it provides for you every basic function that you need for mixing. If you have bigger budget, then there is more exciting machines on the market :)

Gotta agree on the flanger FX, it's a good effect and you use it wisely, the problem is that you are using it too much. No offense, just trying to be honest and give a good critic.
