At least they give us a metronome. First I've seen this minigame. I can already see myself losing many hours to this. At least it's not some amplitude amalgamation making you hit literally every single note in the actual song.

Personally I find the faster speeds easier than the slower ones. I get way too many goods on the slower speeds. That being said this is still insanely impressive.

I remember spending like 5 hours on the old piano minigame just doing the same 2 or 3 settings over and over again. When i booted up the demo for the first time and the first thing i saw was a full fledged piano minigame, the look on my face was priceless!

Getting star ranks is so hard when you want to play every note in the song but then you end up missing the notes you need to play.

I found this setting to be a lot easier to complete and the trophy then doing it on the slowest setting.

What makes these so hard to get perfect is that the melody does not at all match the inputs 75% of the time. Especially on the last 2. It's almost easier to do with the tv muted. I think it might be more realistic to learn the actual piano and play the songs for real then do these 😂

the keys and music didnt line up properly in this mini game in at least 3 of the songs. the chocobo song and one winged angel in particular felt off. i had better luck muting the game to play the songs. which tells me something was off with sound queues in this mini game.

I did it now, Try putting magicUP instead of atk<->magik because with the swap you lose 20 in both attack and magic. With magc UP your value will be higher, try!

Hands down this is THE BEST guide. Just took me two attempts to pass this. The only difference is that I used Gotterdammerung as my accessories, and put Altruistic Buff Up as my Weapon Skill. One useful tip I found is that you can stop the enemy when it is staggered to extend the staggering window, and you also put hasten on your self to fasten the ATB build. I used Gotterdammerung due to its invincibility period it gives, which I found super useful during the Ironclad gravitia attack and to finish up White Terror. This deserves more views and keeps up the good work brother 🐐

Yuffie Doppelganger with darkside and hooked up to plasma discharge Hp absorb... essentially 20% on top of the other 20% At the moment im sick of dying so fast so im running cloud barret and Red for now for a team that does mostly steady combat and tanking of course we all know that rulers of the outer worlds doesn't really give you a chance it's either hyper skilled dodge, parry, block and good/superb level RNG or cheesing it and hoping for good RNG(aka broken). I SEE A LOT OF PEOPLE including myself complaining about it but then, you'll have that one guy that just tells you to get good or some other nonsense but there's a certain point where you want it to be over and unless you were practicing advanced combat all the way through your playthroughs (if you played on easy and normal like i did you're kinda screwed in skill department..ugh) then you'll be extremely frustrated for weeks even months and likely quit because that slog is absolutely broken compared to the already difficult challenges which you could at least cheese after 10 tries. Anyway i was more into getting everything after the first 60 hours and at like 240 hours i feel sad i didnt practice combat skill barely at all because i was collecting intel and doing minigames for a hundred hours...instead of combat. They really should patch up Gilgamesh to do more BS and less run stoppers and slow down sephiroth. In OG ff7 sephiroth would tank you then cast a super powerful attack allowing you to get cure3 and regen up and defend Not to mention he calmed down after supernova and heartless angel was not nearly as frequent as something like octoslash. PS I beat emerald and Ruby and ozma and the outer worlds challenge is probably about as hard as emerald and Ruby both in one match up to match 4 then like ozma at 3x speed on the last 2 I know this is a long comment but I definitely want people to know that they are not just pouting or whining, there is a legitimate complaint about the way these battles are structured without the checkpoints and the random difficulty And damage being way way way too high, many attacks being extremely difficult if not impossible to block without extensive extensive extensive training like 100 hours at least of in combat training Don't let someone gaslight you into hating yourself if you can't beat the challenge for all you know they didn't even do it especially if it's on Reddit or something they feed on your pain to help them cope with life and just want to make you upset that's their goal.
