I wish it could do 2 loops. I would be able to loop piano as well and play the guitar along with it.

It has a couple 80s synth sounds, but If you want something with a larger base of 80s sounds, go with the JUNO DS. They have a lot more sounds.

These are sold in the US. You just may have had a hard time finding it, that why you don't have the English documentation/manual. I have one of these, it's great for the price, size, and what it can do. It has the keys from Yamaha's more expensive Reface Series of four different keyboards, as well as other entry models like this, but this is the best one. My good friend from Japan, Masataka Kono, a jazz pianist has a whole lots of videos with this and many other keyboards, he is the MINIKEYs master for this and the Reface CP and using two or more of these, or in combination of other keyboards, drum machines, or as a keyboard controller for in iPad and MacBook. The only real downside is the older micro USB that makes it harder to find a cable if not hooking up to a device with USB A.

Maximum Loop Recording Time ?
@gtbergАй бұрын
@@harpreetsinghmoga not exactly sure. It goes by number of keystrokes, rather than time. I've recorded a comp track for a short song like 3 mins. I mostly use it to build a loop of bass or some drum loop for my songs.

you can only loop ONE instrument and then drums. and then play over it. Its not like a real looper where you can keep making layers. still cool though! great keyboard

nice job! I am a professional musician whose guilty pleasure is maximizing the use of small/inexpensive keyboards. Among my collection of instruments of all brands and categories is this PSS-A50 as well as the "arranger" PSS-F30. I think you've done a fantastic job explaining and demonstrating your workflow. Rock On!

I'm looking to buy my 10 year old daughter one for Christmas. She's a complete beginner. Which model would you recommend? The A50 or the F30. Thanks in advance 👍🏻
@jeffeason853Ай бұрын
@@MBYT83 If you can find one the F30 would be my recommendation based upon the variety of sounds and accompaniment styles. The A50 has more synth sounds and arpeggios which is fun for electronic dance music etc, which might be a fun noisemaker for a teen or young 20-something.....but I'm not sure that would be the right choice for a 10-year old beginner. Actually for a 10year old beginner I would strongly recommend looking at a Yamaha PSR-E383 right now as there are some exceptional holiday deals now around $150 US which is not much more than you'd pay for either the F30/A50 if you can find one. The PSR-E383 is very musical. Lots of voices, lots of accompaniment styles, full-size keys. it is a tremendous bargain. Good luck!

How did you do the recording because this keyboard has a background buzzing sound on usb and headphone
@gtberg10 ай бұрын
I plug in the keyboard from the headphones jack to a small personal size guitar amplifier, (15 watt size), and record the video and audio just from my cellphone. I don't use a computer or a DAW for this. This lo-fi method works well for me. I'm using batteries to power the keyboard. I set the volume at 11 on the keyboard. If you are getting a buzz, try using batteries instead of USB.
