Question, i have an intel iris i5 mac book and cant use my cine studio software. what mac book are you using to be able to utilize mrotoAI?

I have a 2020 m1 MacBook Pro, I believe you have to use the m series for mRotoAI to work since I couldn’t get it to work on my iMac that wasn’t the m series, thank you for watching!

I’m used to editing on my MacBook Air with 8gb ram and the most I use is 3 layers so I think this one will be just fine for me.

I have downloaded and been working extensively with this. In trial mode, after 1,000 frames, it stops working despite it being advertised as fully functional in trial mode plus the addition of a small watermark overlay. Do you know if this a limitation on the trial version, or is this frame limitation also in force in the paid version?

@@GregMillerMedia Hi Greg .... thanks for your response. I heard last night from FX Factory on this critical issue. So that you will know, there is a limitation on the number of frames that can be rendered in one pass with RotoMatic, according to FX Factory. In my case, it can only render 30 seconds of video before it stops. Imagine have to cut up a 30 minute video to 30 second segments and rotoscope each one separately. From FX Factory ... "There is a limit of 2000-2500 frames that the system can process in one pass. You can cut the media into chunks and work on them individually." So, personally, I tried the software and love it. But it is not useful to me with this limitation as my work involves rotoscoping hours of video. Keypr, mRotoAI and Background Remove all do not have this limitation.

great video i was debating on weather to get mrotoAI because of the sub model but Ive look at competitors and mroto is pretty good m definitively getting it. plus i already own M tracker 3D.

looking for help for multicam editing. I double clicked my timeline which opened up my two clips on the timeline. Now I cannot close them to make one primary timeline. I have used to the back arrow above the timeline which should do it. but it is not responsive (active)??? Any ideas. was i Clear??

Sometimes if you exit Final Cut the arrow no longer works, you should be able to click on the original project file on the top left of Final Cut that would bring you back to your original timeline, if you can’t see that then go to “window” “show in workspaces” and then “browser” that’ll open the project files, let me know if it didn’t work! @jerryx2000 I think if you’re fine with where you’re at and don’t need the new features then it’s great to stay where you’re at. It’s easier to upgrade then it is to downgrade if you need it, hope this helps!

Your course sounds very interesting . Maybe when I get a bit more money. it sounds like one of the few legit ones out there. I'm into place where I know the tools well. The technical side. I edit my own KZbin videos and I've had many small clients. I feel like it's hard to get a solid client that wants to do large amounts of work together. Part of this is my social skills. And part of it is not having the right connections. I also of course want to continue to get better at telling stories. In which I always know can be improved but I do feel like I'm somewhat of a beginner when it comes to complex storytelling or even telling A really good simple story. Anyway, enjoyed the interview.

I have MacBook M3 Pro Max. 15 days ago it was working with ProRess 4444, exporting fine, etc. I'm on version 10.7.1. A few days ago I updated to Sonoma 14.4.1. I don't know if that's related, but now I can't import many files, even ones I imported 15 days ago, or similar files, mostly MOV with wav audio, some MP4, also wav audio files, PNG, etc.. Anyone have this issue?

@@GregMillerMedia I was going to delete my comment as I did another in video but I forgot. I just solved the problem. I thought I had but I may not have closed the library of the previous event that was open before selecting new. I realized after I deleted the library file for that, that closing the library as I usually do would have done the same thing, after selecting new event, and clicking on the name Untitled brought up an import arrow in the window to the right of it which gives access to all the usual files for import. But thinking back, I'm pretty sure I did close the library first, before selecting New, but maybe there was a glitch.

@@GregMillerMedia I think Final Cut Pro X is definitely behaving differently to import videos. I tried it again after closing the library before I closed the app the last time. What it does is it opens a window to open a Library or start a New Event, as before, but when you selected New previously, it would put Untitled on the upper left of the window and set up the event there with the import download button in a box to the right of that. Now if you click on the import buttons in that box where are you first select New, or in the top File menu or the import button just below the top menu, they bring up a very limited selection. You have to click on the title line in the box where you select New, and it puts Untitled in it and it loads Untitled also in the upper left-hand corner of the page as an event with the proper import button in a box to the right, so they added an additional confusing step where they want you to put the title in first, even if you don't put any title in, just click on it.

@@GregMillerMedia One last update--Now there's a different variation when I open Final Cut Pro X. When I choose New in the library box that opens with the app, Untitled is already loaded as the title but in the file menu it brings up the files are mostly unavailable to be selected. This time I had to click on Save in that box, and then it loaded it in the upper left corner with the proper import button in a box to the right.
