I’ve caught a lot of bass dragging a Carolina rig over the years. You don’t hear as much about it as you used to with all of the other techniques nowadays but it still catches fish. Those were some nice fish. Thanks for the video. Keep up the good work.

CPF Lures are great. Very durable. You can catch a lot of fish on a single bait before having to change it. Great video. Keep up the good work.

bobber stoppers are key when you add the weight to a carolina rig, keeps the knot from getting damaged beads are known to chip and cut the line ...just sayin!!

Luv the videos. Keep up the good work. I used to fish West Lake Toho all the time but haven’t been for quite some time because of all the hydrilla. Last time I went wasn’t much fun. Spent most of my time running around looking for some open water but everything was choked out with all of the grass. I haven’t been back since. Watched your video with the guy talking about plans to start managing the hydrilla again. Too bad they let it go this long and get so out of control. It’s a shame what has happened to our lakes. Sure not what they were 45 years ago. Glad to see you using CPF Lures. Chuck makes good stuff. Been using CPF Lures since they came out. It’s good to support the local guys. Good luck on the water.

@@angelmarrero5498 good question; I don’t know that there is an optimal pressure. I can tell you that fish in general don’t like a rising barometer. They feed better and act a little more relaxed under a falling barometer or stable pressure. When a front pushes through the barometer begins to climb and that tends to shut them off, especially in shallower lakes like Toho.

I saw there is a kayak ramp at Shingle Creek Regional Park......is the water too shallow up in there this time of year?

Bakewell Custom Jigs flipping jig that’s not yet available. In a color that is kind of custom but it’s basically a black/blue/purple. 1oz jig. Trailer is always a CPF Lures P&P Reaper in Dirty Albright. That Reaper is killing it for me right now punching hydrilla on Toho.
