You have to pay a fee to get to both of the caves. You can buy a combine ticket for the cable car ride and also for the caves:)

I use to live in Marina Di Pisa, which is just down the road from Tirrenia, the Hotel is nice, all the night life is right there by the Hotel, Diners and Bars are great, there is no river here, but the Arno is down by Marina Di Pisa, and the Canale Imperial is down by Livorno. Otherwise, there are alot of woods, and beautiful places to stay, as well as beaches, some are for members only, and I know of one that you can pay for the day. Great place to visit.

The beach at Castellammare di Stabia is not clean, and swimming is prohibited here.

The beach side is a little father towards the peninsula. Immediately after Pozzano, you find all the resorts and the sea is very clean. All the work it was done in the past years with the depurator paid dividends. In the past few years also the long beach of the spiaggia neighbourhood has seen a revival. I think the prohibition of diving on the seafront (villa comunale) is just a bureaucratic issue, but the sea itself is super clean now.

Apologies for the delayed response. I booked this trip independently without the assistance of a travel agency. I purchased tickets at three locations: (1) Ferry ticket from the port of Beverello in Naples for my journey to Capri Marina Grande. (2) At Marina Grande, I obtained tickets for an island boat trip. (3) Additionally, I purchased entry tickets for the Blue Cave (Grotta Azzurra) at its entrance.

Super replies, thank you! Part of my heart will always be in beautiful Wengen where I went on honeymoon. Great choice, eh? I shall be in the Jungfrau region on August 1 2023. Any ideas where the best Swiss National Day celebrations are normally held? I've only been to the one on the Mannlichen. A quite small but lovely celebration.

I shall walk to Murren. A wonderful waIk. I always stopped before at a farm for marvellous milk. Catch the train back though!

I travelled 3 times before on the lovely old funicular, replaced by this thrilling cable car in 2006. My first cable car ride to Grutschalp will be next year when I am 77.

Sounds like you parallel my experience and vintage. Went up twice on the old funicular and then the cable car in 2007. Too late to ever get back again to this lovely area I'm afraid, but this jogs the pleasant memories. 😊

@@nickwills1212 Yep, it's a nice walk up from Murren. I've done it a couple of times - mostly in Summer. Though 1 time in Spring I tried to take a short cut off the cleared tracks through the late season left-over snow - and got an education! No snow in tropical Australia! 😜😁

See below: Name: Alexander Farbes Age: 32 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1819 Relationship: Head Spouse: Betsy Farbes Gender: Male Where born: Edenbrugh Parish Number: 498 Civil Parish: Kirkintilloch So they probably misspelled it and I searched for "Edenbrugh" and found your youtube video.
