Given what we've seen from the tech industry in general, there's a good chance that the original demo was faked and this release is just what Sora was to begin with. OpenAI is a multibillion dollar company purely because of their ability to promise great future things to investors. Those investors are the real market for Sam Altman and his followers, not the end users of whatever product they create.

@@AI_research7 To a degree, yes (at least some people) but it's more of a convenience in most cases and we can or should still be able to function without it. However, if we continue delegate all of our knowledge, skills, decision making, data and information to technology, we'll eventually stop learning ourselves and the next generation(s) may lose the ability to survive without technology altogether.

This app is for people that are lazy and essentially brain dead and want to be told what to do? Unless you have access to databases buried in the cloud, this is the same as searching publicly available information that is also in the cloud.

Amazing technology , however I am cautious about this as you know "BIG BROTHER " is watching - is this another way for it to keep an eye on you ?? I have used it and feel like JARVIS is around the corner...what was once only science fiction is now a reality.

Gemini is pretty good, and it's totally free with seemingly no limits. ChatGPT Advanced Voice is quite a lot better (more seamless and natural conversations). It's truly remarkable how close it is to talking to a person. But for free you only get a few minutes per month before you get kicked out to the free version. The free version may even be better than Gemini, but after about 10 minutes with it, it said "i ran out" of something and then refused to work. I'm really rooting for Gemini to catch up to ChatGPT and hopefully stay free

@@gemini_537 Indian accent. I already chosen English (India). But still it bad at detecting voice, ChatGPT and any other app are able to detect. But gemini Live listens something else when we speak.
