Toyota's typically have fewer inherent defects and use materials that typically last longer in open exposure. Their engineering is typically excellent. Toyota's Engineering staff is yuge !
@91CavGT55 ай бұрын
But in recent years, quality has taken a significant drop. Rusting frames causing a recall, engine bearing problems in the new V6, transmission problems, and weak four wheel drive components in the new Tacoma. While they are not the worse auto manufacturer there is, they are no longer as good as they once were.

It was a reliable car once...
@JKgamings4205 ай бұрын
One thing about vehicles that people don’t understand is that most cars are reliable it’s just that people don’t keep up with the maintenance and end up ruining their car that is what when you buy a used car it don’t matter if it’s a Toyota if the maintenance wasn’t kept up to date the reliability goes down.
@alohaautomotiveandmotorsports5 ай бұрын
Agreed
@x_world47555 ай бұрын
Try doing that with an N54 in the 335i BMW no matter how much you keep up with maintenance, it’ll always have an issue or you’ll need to replace the motor. So no not every motor is reliable, even if you stay on top of maintenance.

If I'm gonna buy a car that hasn't been maintained properly its gonna be a toyota honda wound be second choice.
@91CavGT55 ай бұрын
@@ramaldoross7726 be careful buying an ill maintained used Honda or Toyota. If the timing belt hasn’t been changed then it is a ticking time bomb. Of course, not all of them utilize a timing belt, but it is something that needs to be looked at prior to purchase. There are other, unrefined vehicles, that might not be as fuel efficient, might not look as good, might not hold up as good cosmetically speaking, but are dead nuts reliable.

Homie looks like it’s his first comment😂 Lexus is a Toyota period, yes intake was off and replaced all 6 runner gaskets and throttle body gasket. Oem coil still running prime but the sparks plug’s definitely was the issue.

Better get an extra long 26mm deep socket. You'd think the manufacture would have figured this out and simply fabricated the sensor with the hex at least half way up so that a normal length deep socket can catch. Especially with all that's in the way.
