I bought one on release and sold it one month later. This was a big mistake. I wanted one for a long time and searched, but the most to buy are in really bad conditions. Thank you for your video. The "old" sensor and lens producing wunderful pictures. Dont ever sell it, not for a million. ❤❤❤

I’m enjoying having my CLE, and I need to pick up my first roll, and drop off the second (and third) at the lab. 40mm rokkor, and I got a m-hexanon 28mm to go with it. 🤷♂️

Somehow the yt algorithm send me to this video 🤗 I’m considering a used XT3 as my first ever travel camera! I’ve only been shooting with a drone and the latest iPhone so far. Which lenses would you recommend as a starting point for travel photography? Mostly street, landscape and very rarely portraits. Ty
@shutterfreak21054 ай бұрын
Thank you for commenting! X-T3 is a great camera. If you prefer having a single zoom lens I suggest to take a look at the Tamron 17-70. Otherwise you can go with the 23mm f2 or 27mm for street. For landscape Sigma 10-18 or even Viltrox 13mm. There are a lot of possibilities, it all depends on your specific needs and budget

x-t30 II is a good choice, pretty compact and impressive cam. x-t50 doesn't make any sense since paying 20% more gets you x-t5 with plenty benefits. 50% price bump just because people still buy.. but it's got film sim dial 🤡

I have one too! It's a wonderful little camera. So light and handy for when I don't want to carry an X-T4 with a big lens. If you don't have any pancake lenses yet, (sorry if I've forgotten) try out the voightlander manual focus ones or the fuji 27mm f/2.8 of course.

Hi and thanks for the video. I am very tempted in getting the xf 16-80mm f/4 r ois wr lens for my x t-30 II for the versatility in focal lengths. I would use it mainly for streetphotography. Do you think for the same budget I should go for something else, like a fixed lens? Or is the quality of this zoom more than worth it? (I currently only have a 27 mm 7Artisan f2.8)
@shutterfreak21058 ай бұрын
I always prefer fixed lenses over zooms, it depends on your personal preferences... For street photography I would choose the XF 23mm f2 or the Sigma 18-50mm 2.8. I prefer this over the XF 16-80 f4

I find the 27mm 2.8 v2 very tight due to the 40mm apsc equivalence but the sharpness and AF is fast and reliable. Is the 18mm f2 on par with the AF if I use it on the fujifilm XE3? My worries is that the lens would struggle to autofocus during street photography
@coryirvin6651 Жыл бұрын
For me, it's about the feel of the lens. I'm mostly a 28mm shooter, but that AF on the 18mm is noticable, even on newer bodies. If you need faster autofocus, go with the 27. I really hope they make a markii of the 18mm.
@edwardsmall3680 Жыл бұрын
Congrats on the X-T5! I'm using the X-T4, X100V and just got an X-T30ii in silver as a non-weather sealed, interchangeable lens alternative to the X-T4. I put a grip on the X-T4 so it's really heavy and large now which is good for my zoom lenses (16-55 and 70-300) but it looks silly with the 27mm pancake on it! I really like the X-T30ii with the smaller primes. Can't wait to take it on some trips. I still have a week left to decide if I want to keep the 16-55 or return it. It's so big and heavy but it takes phenomenal photos at f/2.8 all the way through. The real test will be this weekend in London, how much does my neck/shoulder hurt after a day out with the X-T4 and the grip.

I've bought both but sold the 27mm. I find the 27mm lacks character while the 18 has similar character to the original 23 and 34 Fuji lenses.

Nice comparison. I didn’t like the xe4 after using it for 6 months. Felt like toy, compared to my xt3. Nice size though. Would love the x100v but impossible to get in the UK at the moment, plus not sure I need it really. I loved the x100f but ultimately, not the biggest fan of the 35mm FOV. Camera decision, are so tough 😂

Is your x-t30 a mark ii or a i? And if it isn't, does anyone know if the mark ii has the same issue with the shutter?

@joaquimramis41242 жыл бұрын
I was about to get an x-t30 but when i tested the shutter at the store i went for an x-e4, just because that! The x-t30 sounds like it has two steps and, if its the same as the x-t100 (same sound) it also produces a lot of vibration on the whole camera, making shutter speeds above 100 unusable

35mm is such a great length for aps-c. I'm using a TTArtisan 35mm f/1.4 - it has quickly become my 'everyday' lens because it is so small and light, at only 180 grams (plus suuuper cheap!)
