Are you using a mocking library outside of the standard? MagicMock seems perfectly happy to make up a method rather than raise an error, if no seal() is in place.

Can you use templates to layout your .rst file? The papaja library for R is a Godsend for people who need it, if there was something like that for python it'd mean I very rarely need to open R (no hate, I just don't prefer it).

That Pydantic based Model validation is something that most frameworks won't provide and auto generation of docs are too pretty good features of FastAPI.. There are other things too.. thanks for sharing !!

Great presentation. Enjoyed the legal aspect, short and sweet, agreement on xpath and scrapy as best practice
So the key innovation here is the fact that because you have a tree ownership structure for all tasks (and the owner can cancel the task), you have a natural way for exceptions to propagate up?

the way nursery starts "coroutines" is very similar to how Golang does things. Good job Nathaniel.

Actually, Nathaniel's model is much better than Golang's. Goroutines are not owned by any parent task. They can error out with nobody to catch them.
