This bike is on my short list. I like the style and it's fairly light weight. But don't like petal assist hill problem you mentioned. Any idea if that was corrected? They offer an extended life battery which I would definitely upgrade to. Do you think that would help the hill issue?
@diyamerican
@diyamerican Ай бұрын
Good questions. Unfortunately I don’t have any good answers. 😔 I would imagine that a bigger battery would help as that would make sense. You may want to scroll down the comments on this video and find some people that have purchased the bike and kept it for a while and see if maybe they can answer any of your questions. 🤷‍♂️

Did you overlap them on the posts as well? Or sre they butted up against each other on the posts? Will these continue to rust? Curious, I live in the PNW also.
@diyamerican
@diyamerican Ай бұрын
Howdy Monica! If my memory serves me, I don’t believe I overlapped them on the posts. They will probably continue to rest over time, which I think adds to the aesthetic of them. Another thing to consider if you’re doing this type of fence is wind. if they are in a spot where they will be taking a lot of wind you might want to leave some spacing between them or make some holes in them or something. Best of luck! God bless!

As a farrier, I believe this isn't ideal, u may affect the natural angles of their hooves and make them uncomfortable, I suggest using your rasp (the less aggressive side) and round the hoof.

Ok thanks for the advice. I had to start doing this myself because I could not get a reliable Ferrier to come out and clip one little donkeys hooves. This happened time and time again so luckily a lady showed me how to file them to keep them in order in the meantime.

I love my Kobalt Pole Chainsaw - 80-volt - 5-AH battery - 10" Bar - 6 ft / 8ft foot Pole Chainsaw. No electric cord. I've been using Oregon Bars and Chains. I have been using it for more than 3 years now. It works great on my southeast Louisiana farm clearing property that a hurricane went through and trashed all the trees throughout the woods of our 18-acre farm. I carry it all over in our woods and the battery lasts a long time. Today I'll be cutting a 6-inch limb off of a tree out front. I am also using (2) Kobalt 80 volt 18" Bar Chainsaws and using (2) 5 AH Batteries. Cuts huge logs great. The chainsaw first one wound up in a puddle and stopped working but after a couple of weeks and it had dried out, it started working again. For oil, I like to use Ryobi Bar and chain oil. We have cut 20"+_ logs and works like a charm. And NO more pulling and pulling to start a gas-powered chainsaw.

Wow, you are a hard working farmer! Thanks for the good advice. Those storms can be a doozy. A big snow storm took out tons of branches on our property in Oregon one year. We were thankful for this pole saw to keep the branches from falling on our critters. God bless!
