If you watch her video on tying 2 skeins, that is what I do to change colors- just usually strategically. 😊👍🏻

The more chunky knit blankets you make, the better they turn out ;)
@imaworkinprogress7256 Жыл бұрын
I like those but what I’ve found that is easier to hide is too put those two ends next to each other and then wrap cotton yarn or embroidery floss around them a couple of times and then knot that. Trim close to where the yarn is. It’s become my go to on that chunky yarn. 🥰

@Abby-gu5gd Жыл бұрын
You could probably make panels of narrow blanket lengthe and join them together like crocheters join granny squares, but with your hands. For example, there's the slip stitch join and the single crochet join that are similar to making rows of your blanket and finishing it of, respectively. A google search of "granny square [slip stitch OR single crochet] join" should turn up some good results. I am in no ways an expert but I have accidentally made some narrow blankets before and thats what I've done to fix it in the past

If it was me, I would take it apart and start again. It's good practice. The more blankets you make, the better you will become with speed, uniform stitches, tensions, etc... Happy Creating!
