I wanted to kill myself yesterday... I looked for this song today. I don't work and I and now I feel they treating me like a dog. I preached and was in the church . This is my disre to teach. My mom died due to Covid in 2021. You are right when you say that losing a mother is different. My mother would say: Ons het harde bene saam gekou (life was hard for us). However I consider losing my mom as the worst thing that has happened in my life. She was the first person to love me when she was expecting me. My mom and I were in contact every day either by text or a call. She sent me bible verses almost daily. When she died, there was a huge hole in my life. Jesus het my regtig deur gedra. I don’t think I will ever get over losing my mom. The pain has just become a bearable. Thank you for sharing this beautiful message in song.

@@NevilleDMusicTV My faith definitely sustains me. Some days are easier than others. I find so much consolation in the Bible verse Jn 11:35 Jesus wept. It unites me with Jesus in my mourning. When I was a little girl, I always sang You’ve got a friend (Carole King) to my mom. She often reminded me of this before she died. After she passed that song would come up on my playlist or in the car almost daily. It was consoling in a way, as if my mom was letting me know that she will always be with me. May God bless you abundantly in all aspects of your life.
