Neil Peart could play like Buddy Rich, but Buddy Rich could never have played like Neil Peart. That among other things makes Peart the better drummer. That said Rich was still great because he was a pioneer while Peart had Rich, Krupa, Louie Bellson, Max Roach, Kenny Clarke and other pioneers to learn from and build upon.

Then and only then was he rushed to the hospital. The ultimate entertainer and the embodiment of "The Show Must Go On". His commitment to the show is unmatched.
