Add the weapon switch button in the settings instead of stressing yourself to switch da weapon or rather move it closer and put it on each other.

You’re not wrong. This is really just a way of documenting my patterns. Some ppl like them, some ppl don’t. And that’s ok. Thanks for watching.

One time back in the 80s I was in a hotel somewhere in Colorado that had some arcade games in a basement and some guy was playing Pac-Man and had all keys at the bottom.

Great gameplay, the sound of eating a ghost however is incorrect, it misses the last higher beeps at the end (quickly goes from low to higher beeps in the original).

How is it possible to know when you are in the final screen?
@zo6rob
@zo6rob 6 ай бұрын
I suspected I was getting close at 2:10:20 in the video (based on my score at the time) so I watched the orange ghost to see if she moved a bit slowly through the S-channel in her corner and she did. At that point I knew I only had 10 levels left until the kill-screen. It’s a minor glitch on the 20th anniversary machines.

Wow. Nice! Lots of close calls. Too risky for my blood. I created a "safer" pattern (Pinky Kiss) meaning missing a corner doesn't mean instant death. Once of these days I'll get a kill screen. Only made it to level 182 so far. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3ykYqt9gM6mjrM

Thanks. I’ve seen you pinky kiss pattern. Nice one. It meets all my criteria for a nice ninth key pattern, especially that fact that you finish before the last reversal (around 49+ seconds or so. As far as my series of ninth key videos goes, I just wanted to record them to remember them. Many of them I will never have to perform them again in a game, but it’s nice to have them on record. My goal was to make a bunch of ninth keys up and find one of my own to use for a perfect game (coming soon.) I have 7 perfect under my belt but none on video. Now it’s just a matter of time. Sorry for the long winded reply.

900,000 on the anniversary machines is easier to reach because you have at least 8 extra boards.

These are amazing! Is it possible to create a pattern that keeps the monsters well away from Pac-Man through most of the pattern. (Asking for a “friend” whose corner timing isn’t the greatest.)
@zo6rob
@zo6rob 8 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for watching. The pattern that I have used in the past is called the screamer. It’s well known and very fast and repeatable. The most effective ‘fast-ish’ of my series of patterns is the first pattern on part VII at just over 46 seconds. Once you get past the first 10 seconds or so it’s smooth sailing. It’s the one I’ve decided to use on my perfect attempt in a few weeks. As far as cornering: all I can tell you is practice. Precision is key to this game.

Thanks so much for the reply! Been looking for an alternative to Stacked, as I’ve really struggled to complete it consistently. Looking forward to trying something different. Thanks again and best of luck on the new perfection attempt!

How do you group? Is there a trick? I want to learn!
@zo6rob
@zo6rob 9 ай бұрын
Hey pofrani. Grouping is all about knowing each ghosts ai and how they all work. My grouping techniques are more advanced since I group AFTER the red ghost speeds up. This is a bit more difficult than other methods out there but after awhile it’s not too bad. Generally speaking I wait until all the reversals are complete and I try to get blue and pink together. After that I try to get the others to get a tight grouping when they arrive at the energizer where I will be waiting. I made a longer video about a year ago where I group for all energizers starting on the cherry board. It’s my 500,000 Garcade video on my channel. Ignore the initial “patterns” and focus on how I group. Let me know if you need any more help and good luck.

Hi Edd. No the guy who has that score is David Parks. He is a real good player from South Carolina I think. I visit the Garcade when I can and I have kill screened that machine. I just haven’t gotten the right fruits to beat his score. I think I got an 888,000 score on it once.

Yes Rob it's possible on the anniversary edition. There's an extra dot on the split that regenerates so not 9 dots but 10. If you continue and keep getting the dots it sends the code past the amount you would normally need to advance to the next level. I hope this clears it up.
@zo6rob
@zo6rob 10 ай бұрын
Yes you are correct Greg. That extra dot allows for the second key to appear for even more points!

Very very impressive. I do want to emphasize that the hiding spot you use right before you end your pattern doesn't always work immediately. If Blinky is right above it and he's moving to the right, you're doomed unless you move before he gets you, but you should never want to do that (see 23:47). You always want to get them in the right position, and sometimes Inky will get ya. This was posted a year ago and you probably learned from that, but still I just wanted to say that. Very good game!
@zo6rob
@zo6rob 11 ай бұрын
Yeah for some reason early in the pattern I continued going up instead of entering the left tunnel. So at that point I was no longer following a pattern. I must have been distracted by something because I obviously wasn’t safe in the hiding spot the way I entered it. Good catch by you!
