I am Charlie Tovar and played congas and percussion in the early days. I played in the album " Just another band from ELA." Btw I still play my congas whenever and wherever. 😂 Later Gente! 👍😁🙏

I have a story. Poignant but true. As I mentioned I played with Los Lobos. Many gigs. Gas money y' know. Anyways I went to Tower Records back in the day man. In Hollywood on Sunset. I asked the counter staff about Los Lobos album. He said to look in the " Foreign section." He said never heard of Los Lobos. Around '85? Yet you can find lots of British band records. Aren't Brits foreign? East Los Angeles us part of L.A. County.
