Jari said in a description of a preview vid of this that because the bridge was missing and the atmospheric outro not being thought about it at first this song was metaphorically sleeping hence the name

iirc Silver Leaves was also written back in the 90s, which would explain why (to me at least) Time II feels more like a continuation of debut album. Regardless, really interesting how this song was significantly improved yet stayed more or less the same!

I've been longing to hear the full version of this song ever since Jari released the Legendary Early Demos riff video. It had such a resemblance to Death and the Healing, and unsurprisingly it was followed up by Death and the Healing in that video lol. Amazing stuff right here
