Actually (Even though what he said is plausible in a worldly sort of way) I have had the opposite experience with this…. The best songs I have ever written are ones when I was close to the Lord, reading the Bible and going to church, slept better, had more peace etc…. It comes and goes (I am human) But those are the best times and creatively too…. It’s just that what’s created (songs and what/not) are of no interest to your secular audience for the large part…🎸🎤🎶🎵🎻🎼
