It is also possible by taxi and public transport. From Deva station, ask for the buses that go to Hunedoara to the station, the ticket costs about 10 euros. Get off at the station in Hunedoara and take a taxi to Castel. You can go to the Castle in a 30-minute walk, so you get to know the city of Hunedoara better, with google maps that you can easily manage. I wish you a pleasant vacation in Romania.

Wonderful, thank you. I lived in Soest for a few years in the late 1960s and loved it. Much has changed in the city centre - numerous new buildings along the main streets...and those streets are now pedestrianised - but it is still Soest. And though a Christmas tour is very nice, I remember quite vividly how exciting it was to go to the town centre on sunny summer days, just exploring the narrow side streets and walking the city walls. I would like to do that again. And hopefully I will.

Anii tinereții i-am petrecut în HUNEDOARA. Aici am învățat, cu profesorii Răzvan, Udrea, Necsa, Negrescu, Gugiamanlliss(grecul). Toți sunt morți, în curând îi urmez. Păcat că a fost distrus cel mai mare combinat din anii 50..70. REȘIȚA nu a făcut așa, RUSINE PT EDILII HUNEDOAREI, RUSINE PT GUVERNANȚII DE DUPĂ '89!

Orice s-ar spune și orice s-ar crede, cele 8 coșuri de fum de la Oțelaria 2 (simbolul Hunedoarei) nu trebuiau să dispară din peisajul Hunedoarei. Blestemati să fie în veci cei care au hotărât distrugerea Combinatului și, implicit, a celor 8 coșuri de fum!

BALAN CONSTANTIN , EROARE BRO... Cele 8 cosuri de fum despre care ne-ai scris ( inalte de 80 de metri ) apartineau in fapt OTELARIEI SIEMENS- MARTIN Nr. 2 avand cuptoare de 400 de tone da ? In fapt , simbolul Hunedoarei a fost , este si ( probabil ) v-a ramane CASTELUL HUNIAZILOR , nicidecum ruinele fostului combinat siderurgic da ?
