i don’t know why ppl get so confused with seungnyang’s feelings. if u analyze it more u will notice seungnyang was into tahwan at first. but the betrayal happened so it stopped. then wang yu came into the picture. their love for each other happened so fast like all of a sudden they’re in love w each other. that’s also why when wang yu proposed to her she was having second thoughts, remembered ta hwan and cried. that’s why she didn’t accept the proposal at first. what she felt for wang yu was more like admiration, gratitude and infatuation. he was her hero and the king of goryeo. she looked up to him. he saved her. she did love him tho especially she was the father of her child. but u can see that her feelings for the emperor grew more strongly as time passes by. she was in denial at first and that she’s starting to feel afraid. and the moment she fell for the emperor, what she only felt for wang yu was care. and nah, she didn’t love wangyu till he died. ppl are so confused by it. she even said to ta hwan that someday he will know her feelings. and that’s also why she’s more concerned about tahwan’s feelings when he killed wang yu. that’s also why she was so afraid that he will leave her or be done with her. whenever she’s with wang yu, she’s so formal. but whenever she’s with tahwan she can be herself. she can be silly, playful, she can joke around, she smiles a lot, she laughs a lot at the final scene, it showed the scene where she chooses tahwan over wang yu then rode the horse together with him. it can be interpreted in many ways. even though the path that she will take with ta hwan is rough and painful, she will always choose ta hwan. wang yu may be her first love but ta hwan is her greatest love.

You're everywhere with this comment, however I think you're wrong. From the start Seung Yang loved Wang Yu. Remember on their way from Goyreo to Yuan when Dankise has discovered that she was a girl and they were arrested and tied to a rope together with Wang Yu. At the time Wang Yu was taken away to go the battlefield to Join Baekan ...remember the way she was talking to Wang Yu crying, that can only be love. Not to mention how each time Wang Yu made advances she never denied him except the time Wang Yu proposed she thought of the emperor a bit but that was just pity because she knew he had no one and he deeply loved her as well... its only natural to feel bad for someone in the Emperor's position. Seung Yang only changed her mind after she heard Wang Yu had married another woman when she has struggled with pregnancy and child birth alone. As well she had lost her child and has been enslaved. Fortunately she was rescued by Tal tal and Bakaen. So for her the only way to survive and get revenge was to go back to the Imperial palace as a concubine. If you notice even after qualifying as a concubine, she never liked the Emperor each time he would try to make advanced towards her she would blatantly refuse( something that never happened with Wang Yu) She made it clear that her goal was to help her overthrow the grand chancellor and make him(the Emperor ) a true, bold and powerful leader at the same time she would revenge the deaths of her loved ones and ensure that Goyreo is free from Yuan's domince. She only gave in to the Emperor's love much later realizing that she needed him (protection) and the the Emperor also needed her advice and support and of course she was now an official concubine( there was no going back)so I guess at some point concubine she decided why not. I mean the Emperor was handsome and loving pus she had a lot to gain.....

The way Taltal looked and dealt with Seung Nyang, it's more than obvious that he had feelings for her. He was so professional with high respect for himself to remain controlled over his feeling. The best character in Empress Ki. 👍👏👏👏 02 April 2021

Toghon may be caught for his luv.in the beginning of the seris he was involved with Park all of a sudden he felt for empress ki.after everything was over he made somebody else his empress and that inner court lady what a bitch she was treated like a maid by tanasikli empress ki did help her she started treating ki planned for her murder planned to blame her for Maha murder
