Anyone think they haven’t (yet) reached that level where they were seemingly on track for? Their albums IMO have been somewhat lacklustre since their early groundbreaking material. ‘Wonderful wonderful’ was a major disappointment. ‘Imploding the image’ was an improvement but I haven’t bothered since.

The live versions of the songs on that album far out do the arrangements of the originals… I guess that adds to the brilliance of one of my favourite bands. ❤

23 years later……..I lived in nyc 10 days later from this concert……😢😢. Now in Raleigh, NC seen you guys from Nj to Ga. Wish I coulda’ went to Vegas but alas……anyways since 23 years been to Ireland 3 times amazing cuisine…..especially Doolin love by the cliffs. Also Dalkey your guys hood! I finally also scored my Irish citizenship cause my mum fro. St. James gate Dublin. Cheers, thanks for the memories!

The irony is that Bono is always in complete control of both the band and the crowd. I have loved this song ever since I first bought the album “Boy” way back in 1980. Such raw energy and charisma exploded out of the speakers…and they’ve still got it!
