Nothing to fear es una maravilla....larga, mágica, sutil y contundente. Podría sonar horas y seguirías enganchado a esa melodía, a pesar de que esta versión sea ligeramente más corta que la de estudio.

This is a fascinating video on Brian Eno. Thank you so much for making this available for us to view. I love much of Eno's music - particularly his earlier albums, and I have those as well as many of his ambient recordings. I love his work. I have to disagree with one of his statements, when he dismisses skill and replaces it with judgements. I agree completely, his work involves judgements. But I don't agree with him on dismissing skill. On many of his earlier albums, Eno worked with other very-well educated and/or skilled musicians. If they had not had the skills that they do, Eno's albums would not have had the magnificent quality that they do. One might argue that the musicians Eno worked with had skill, but that Eno did (does) not. Again, I disagree, for two reasons. First, on his albums, he is listed at times as playing traditional (non-synthesizer) instruments. Eno DID play these instruments with skill in terms of the notes chosen, rhythm and tempo. Secondly, Eno's songs are written in musical key signatures. They employ quite traditional harmonies. They have chord progressions that ultimately resolve on a root note or chord (or they may simply fade out). All of this does not happen by chance - it takes a modicum of skill. This skill may not necessarily have been developed in a formal school setting. It can be innate talent and having a good "ear". It can be skill gleaned from many years of experimentation. It can be skill gleaned from much collaboration and time spent with other musicians. But it is skill all the same. I think that for Eno to say he is unskilled is to misrepresent himself. This man is very artistically and musically skilled. Thank you again for this wonderful video. Best wishes.
