Love the result! Does the table have a veneer top? I want to do this to my table, but I’m worried the veneer won’t sand or stain well.
@thebrokenmasterpieceКүн бұрын
As long as you don't sand down too far in the veneer it'll stain fine!

The folks who hate citri-strip don't use it correctly. You have to cover citri-strip with cling wrap. If it dries out, you're in for a mess. Wait 15-30 mins then scrape and wash any remaining residue with mineral spirits and 0000 steel wool. I've used it for years bc the smell of the others give me an instant migraine. The old formula was much better but I still make do with the newer one. I need to try the Wise Owl one sometime but they're way overpriced on all their products imho. You're welcome.

Baking soda didn't work on the china cabinet we got from a smoker. I left it for 48 hours twice. The smell is on the OUTSIDE of the piece, not the inside, so that didn't help. How did you get it off the outside of the piece?
@thebrokenmasterpiece7 күн бұрын
Ahhh I'm so sorry! Are you trying to paint the piece or stain it?

Where does the dust go in? In the front the air blows out. I see a lot of people put it against the wall, but how does that work?
@thebrokenmasterpiece9 күн бұрын
The back!! I have it out about 2-3 inches from the wall, and it's underneath where my ac vent blows diagonally so it catches all that dust!

There is a list of the tools you can get on the description. But I think because everyone will need different sizes or amounts of wood I didnt include a spc sheet for supplies. Throughout tho you'll see what types of boards and what I use

Sweet! I love it! I have one I bought a desk at Costco for my personal use. I need one like you built for my work setup. I am handy at many things, but not with saws. I would have to buy an already made top. I hope your family is doing okay? Thank you for showing me different ideas I can try. I do have a question. I received a bedroom set many years ago from my Mom. It is mostly wood, but it has the decorative front, which keeps all the dust. It is not my style. I prefer flat, where no dust gets in. I am trying to show you a small picture of it, but I cannot figure it out. I did change the hardware, but I can't keep the dust out. Would you change the detail out or just do a deep clean?? Or something else?
@thebrokenmasterpiece17 күн бұрын
Ok as far as cuts go - you can actually get the wood cut to your specs AT a lot of hardware stores like lowes and HD in the lumber department so its ready to assemble and kreg jig at home!! Talk to them about that!! Mother in law is doing miraculously better. Not kidding, she seems 90% better but just has very little t no speech YET. Such miracles so far. Been incredible to witness. Shoot me a photo of it on facebook or IG!!!

Can you tell me how Green EZ would work on the vertical. I have some window frames, very old thick wood frames with layers and layers of paint that I want to strip, I'm a little worried, based on your video, that it will just run down with gravity. Can you confirm this for me?
@thebrokenmasterpiece19 күн бұрын
Yes!!! It would work great!! You can use the Saran wrap over it right away to help it stay thick and not run down but it works amazing

Hello, with the spray gun how many coats of primer are needed? Also are you supposed to dilute the primer like you do with paint? Thank you
@thebrokenmasterpiece20 күн бұрын
You do not dilute shellac at all, it runs through a sprayer just fine!! I usually do 2 unless there is super bad bleed through. Hope that helps!
