I just used the herculiner on the interior floor and small front deck area of the boat. It is definitely slip resistant full of sand and durable. After sanding I definitely wiped the area with xylene solvent. I was not going to but manufacturer suggests it to get all the crap and sticky stuff off that scuffing won't get for better adhesion. I have a curious question... why would you want to have a sanded underside of the boat? The sand is slip resistance. No judgement 😜 just curious

The lower one turned out pretty well. I see some people get dazzling marbling but most people don't lol. I'll try it on one but I think my electroplating system and powder coating systems just might up being the end result if I don't like this result; I can easily enough revert them back.

You could also put it more in the middle of the boat so it disperses the weight better especially if you have the boat loaded down with gear!
