How does one treat it

I found a simple but powerful solution to the horizon wobble of my Weebil S: After having balanced the gimbal (and if desired also done the 6-axes calibration), do auto tune for the motors and THEN BRING THE ROLL AXIS VERY SLIGHTLY OFF BALANCE.! Off-balance of the roll axis should be very little only - there should be only a tendency for the gimbal to feel more like rolling on one side. This will keep the roll control-loop of the gimbal permanently engaged and not allowing any jittery roll movements to build up. After 4 hours of desperately experimenting with all different combinations of motor and other settings, I remembered back my university times (35 years ago) and a great professor I had for cybernetic systems. From him we learned how to make stabilization circuitry engaging earlier and faster by bringing the mechanical system to be stabilized slightly out on balance which keeps the circuitry at permanent engagement to keep things in balance. Especially does this method counterfeit any 'decision errors' of the control loop in the fully stabilized midpoint where it does not know into which direction to counteract the next movement. Works perfectly of my old Weebill S which I am using now since more than 3 years of living in the drawer. Should work for most stronger gimbals, too.

I'm not having this issue, I'm experiencing a minor to severe drift, depending on the situation. The camera just goes down when I'm doing certain moves. And I'm using a very light lens, with camera it's about 680 grams. I have no idea what it is and is really triggering.... Any advice?

I can confirm that the horizon issue is still prevalent in the weebill S, this could be batch related, but the one I have tested today, still has the horizon drift!

I fixed , step one six side calibration, step 2 , motor calibration roll -2. Done

same problem with my NEW weebill s , is always lean to the left. this is no good at all.

I have reached out to Zhiuyn, but with no luck, I would recommend you return your gimbal until more people start complaining

Amazing! It didn't get stuck, very good, I think the driver is experienced and kept the momentum, but the car is very good anyway.

In case no one hasn’t mentioned yet, you can fix it using the app. Go into in settings and under “motor calibration” you can adjust the angle of the motor. Turn on the “level” in your camera display to make it to measure the vertical and horizontal is green. I had to adjust my motors to -1 and now it’s perfectly leveled.

I thought I was the only one. Does anyone know if there is a fix still? Very annoying to have to adjust all my video in post. I thought maybe my setup with BMPCC4k was too heavy or something, but I've balanced it time and time again.

Hi there. I had the same problem. Decided to reach out to a zhiyun tech wich advised me to calibrate the gimbal by placing it on its side with the all the axis locked after putting it on sleep mode. Then waiting at least 30 seconds. This solved my problem. Please let me know if you have tried that. Hopefully will help you.

Don't go by your eye. Use your camera's internel level, go only by that, and set your roll.

Same issue, PLUS the pan will not centre - it keeps panning to the right when walking in a straight line. I still own the Crane 2 and don't have this issue. This gimbal is junk.

You mention manual calibration. Does that include performing the six-sided calibration? I get some horizon drift, but not preferentially to one direction as yours seems to have.
