Beautiful house and grounds, but a decorator did all of the interior. It’s not very family friendly.

That used to be my grandparents house and they bought it in the 1930s for about $135,000. It was called Harkaway Farm. If they saw that house today, they would have a second heart attack. So sad.

The exterior is wonderful but as for the interior and color scheme it would not draw me to buy it. Sorry but I am honest in my opinions

You are crazy if you spend that money on this. I guess the greedy gougers on Wall street would and who the hell wants to be in their company.

That home is beautiful. I hope someone buys it who will fill it with classic furniture instead of icy cold modern furniture.

Why are so many people commenting on how tasteful this home is?! The interior design is gaudy, tacky, and hurts the eyes -- that tile design in the kitchen, yeesh! The best thing is the round-room solarium, the only room that feels calming.

I loved the solarium ❤ Mary had every type of health equipment in her gym, including the lovely whirlpool. It didn't help her live to be 100. All you can do is eat well, exercise, get regular exams, meditate, get plenty of rest, and hope for the best in your later years to die in your sleep.

Beautiful house and property. The Solarium is gorgeous, love the "den" but the kitchen is awful. Parts of the home's decor are a little too contrived. Would have preferred more traditional, true to form, continuity and understatement flowing through this particular house. It's not awful it's just not great. That said, rest in peace Mary, loved your show.

A few questionable design choices, but overall a stunning home. And the grounds are gorgeous. It's kind of making me regret that decision not to star in a couple of hit sitcoms so I could afford it.

Beautiful house and grounds! What was startling was that red and white tile for the kitchen backsplash area. It looked very do-it-yourself, and everyone within 100 miles of a Home Depot has that same tired horizontal tile. It seemed quite jarring to the eye.

Greenwich, Connecticut is one of the most beautiful towns. Country roads littered wirh huge lovely estates like this. Same with parts of Westchester County, New York. The New York powerful set up their homes in these places. I lived in Greenwich and later surrounding areas in the 90s and it was magical.

Sure beats that characterless apartment Mary Richards moves into at the beginning of the sixth season. You probably never knew this, and maybe I shouldn't tell you, but Mary Tyler Moore, along with Carol Burnett, once made a remarkable sacrifice on my behalf. As a teenager I wasn't going out much (I'm sure you'll find that hard to believe), and word somehow got to Ms. Moore and Ms. Burnett, so selflessly they ended their still-popular TV shows just so I'd have no reason to stay home Saturday nights--clearly and correctly figuring that anyone who'd settle for "Love Boat" got what they deserved. Just shows you the extent of what class acts appeared on television at the time. I have no idea who or what's on TV Saturday night these days, but I bet they'd never do anything like that for the sake of one gawky teenager.

Wow!!! If I won the powerball jackpot I would offer 30 million for this home. MTM had impeccable taste. She left us too soon but I guess the diabetes overtook her in the end. But her tv and film legacy. Funny I was thinking about her last night and how great she was as a dramatic a tress as well.I wish she had gotten more roles like that.

Mary lived a very long time after her diagnosis of diabetes. She was an inspiration to people who are diagnosed when young. In the old days you were told you wouldn't live to see your fifties and would be blind in early adulthood.

@@mtl6905 This is true. I was amazed she lived as long as she did with type 1. However she had multiple surgeries to save her sight. Even with that she was almost blind when she died according to Bette WHITE. A guy in my building had a leg amputation last month. He's only 53. He was overweight and didn't exercise. I have a sneaky suspicion she just stopped taking the shots and said I'm outta here. Some said there were problems with that husband also. And her only child committed suicide. Fame and fortune can't save us either. RIP Mary. You were GREAT in all ways.
