That is so awesome !!! I have been working at doing a handstand for almost 3 years. I turned 65 last December and on my birthday I finally held it for 10 seconds with the wall being my "safe space". Thank you so much for this video!! I’ve been working on handstands for about a year now and I’m like Julie, I can balance once I get upside down, but my kick up is inconsistent. I just tried your tip about keeping your thighs internally rotated (I trained in ballet for years so turning my hips out is a habit now), and I also noticed that Julie doesn’t swing her back leg up, she only pushes from her standing leg, which made me realize that I’m making my hips tilt too far back when I swing my back leg up. I just implemented those things and I floated up and held it, just like Julie!!! Thank you so much for this tip 😁

Is the inner spiling something like keeping the toes pigeon toed or is it closer to keeping the knees close together?

It’s keeping the ankles parallel, which may feel like pigeon toed for a lot of bodies. Knees together is useful too
