how do you get it to turn on when you turn your right and left blinkers on? do you have to do a pairing option or something? right now we can see that all of our cameras are working but they just dont pop up with the screen for the right and left as we turn the signals on.

Part of the harness includes the trigger wires that have to be wired into the vehicle that tell the camera system to switch between cameras.

I like this one. With elevated toilet I should be able to stand easily with my leg problems. The electric jacks help me also. Since I usually travel alone I could leave the bed made up all the time since there is a small table and seat for eating. This would be easy for me to haul with my van that has a 3500 tow limit. Can I get it with a longer outside grab rail by the door?

Nice video! We've been camping inside the gorge for 30+ years now. But just recently camped in Koomer Ridge a couple times - in the fall of 2022 and the spring of 2023. Normally, I would camp in the gorge, but it made sense for me to camp here because of a nagging foot injury. We prefer fewer crowds, so we camped in site 10, our favorite, and the second visit ended up being site 45, the double site( just two people). We had tried to stay in site 10 again, but the previous campers left a poo right by the tent area, so we paid extra to stay at site 45. A two night stay ended up being only one because site 44's dogs barked too much... Showers never worked either of our stays, and it was just chilly enough to not be able to use a solar shower. Also, for our 2nd stay, we brought a privy tent and portable toilet - much better than the campground pit toilets. The biggest deal breaker is the highway noise. It's barely noticeable during the day, but at night, you'll definitely hear it echoing anywhere within the campground. Cell phones worked, so we played a white noise KZbin video all night to drown out the highway sounds... Our future trips will be camping inside the gorge (only). I don't think we could ever go back to Koomer Ridge. I imagine it would good for families, novice campers, those with limited mobility and certainly fun for One Wheeling.

Thanks Kyle. I always appreciate your straight forward presentations. What specific unit are you using here. I'm interested in installing a second rear facing camera on my 22 Valencia 35mb. And the screen in the location you've used. You don't explain how you get the connections to the screen from the garmin unit? Thanks.

Not a system that would stay usable in the snow, sleet and slush sticking out so far on the sides, and being so big on the front end. The standard system on our Explorer becomes useless as well in those conditions..
@kylekoeberlein
@kylekoeberlein 3 ай бұрын
So I installed this on my motorhome and the only camera I had this issue with was the front camera when I drove in some good snow the other day. Snow built up on the front side of the side cameras but did not cause issues with the lens and infrareds. No matter what there are going to be those extreme cases that cause issues. I drove a Renegade in some sleet one time and disabled the collision mitigation system by icing up the front radar. I would guess that most would not drive in those weather conditions if they don’t have to.

Great video showing the park and the camping spots!! We will be there in two weeks, staying on spot 38. How is it driving through the park to get to the camp spots? We have a 40ft fifth wheel that we tow with a Ram 3500 dually.
@kylekoeberlein
@kylekoeberlein 5 ай бұрын
Take your time, and you should be fine. The road leading to the campground entrance, as well as the campground itself, offers ample space for maneuvering. Of course, this can depend on your driving skills, but in my opinion, the average fifth-wheel owner shouldn't find it too challenging or stressful.

Thanks for the great information on the construction of a Renegade, can you tell us how thick the floor of the basement cargo compartments is? This is important to us as we full time and are living in the NW. Currently in a Entegra Class A and are impressed with how warm the coach , including the basement is during the winter months.

It can be challenging to manage both business discussions and KZbin interactions simultaneously. It's important to maintain a high level of customer service without resorting to pressure tactics. Additionally, avoiding multiple platforms can help minimize interactions with trolls. Feel free to email at [email protected] if you want to start up a discussion or you can also call the main dealership line at (502) 570-5252 and ask for me.

Thank you, very interesting. My husband and I camped there in our little tent many, many years ago. It was a pretty area but nothing like it looks like now. We both wanted (and needed) a shower badly and were excited they had them there. Of coarse they were not the ones they have now. They were not clean and had the largest population of bugs and spiders we had ever run across! We managed but left the next morning. We really liked the area, always camped in the National Forests. Have camped in them from New Hampshire to California. Ohioans. Enjoyed the video.

I'm so glad to hear that you found my post interesting. Isn't it amazing how places can change over time? It must be quite the experience to look back and compare your memories of camping in your tent all those years ago with what the area looks like now. I had a chuckle imagining your surprise at encountering the bug and spider community in the showers back then! I'm sure it was a bit challenging but also a story you both can look back on and laugh about now. How awesome that you've camped from New Hampshire all the way to California! National Forests truly offer some of the best camping experiences. As a fellow lover of the great outdoors, I'm sure you have lots of interesting tales to tell. As an Ohioan, you're lucky to be in a state with a wealth of beautiful nature, too. I'm thrilled you enjoyed the video, and I'll keep sharing more content about our national treasures. Thanks again for sharing your story, and happy camping!

Kyle , I really like the Verona LE but hate the shower it looks cheap ! I would like complete tile walls and floor , can they do that ?
@kylekoeberlein
@kylekoeberlein 10 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment and interest in the Verona LE! You're absolutely correct that a tile shower can enhance the look and feel of an RV. However, as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, custom changes during the production of RVs, especially structural ones like altering the shower, are typically not offered by manufacturers. This is due to the standardization of the production process which helps to maintain quality control and safety standards. That being said, modifications to the interior, including a tile shower, could potentially be done aftermarket by a skilled professional. Such modifications would be similar to a home renovation. Keep in mind that RVs have specific weight and balance considerations, and any modifications should consider these factors to avoid impacting the vehicle's stability and safety. I'd recommend speaking with a local RV renovation company or a contractor who specializes in RVs to see what possibilities there might be. They should be able to give you an idea of the cost and feasibility of such a project. I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Howdy! Awesome video! One question I have is I plan on coming here with 4 people total, 2 separate vehicles(normal cars). What type of site would I use? We would obviously like to stay at the same campsite (tent camp). From the video it looks like the site where you park a car and walk to the camp is pretty small and only meant for one vehicle
