Lean sounds so stupid as most other ideologies within PM. So basically Toyota managed to do the same work with less resources, and someone observed this in retro perspective, and stated "Hey everyone, we should also do more with less. AKA be lean" It is no different than a manager says "work smarter not harder"... Okay what EXACTLY do you want me to do different, when I turn on my computer at work? Or are you just implying that if I where smarter, I could leave office earlier? In reality, who would actively try to add waste or load to a project, team or department? None. We always assume that what we are doing is necessary.

For anyone confused how sprint backlogs differntate from increments: In Scrum, a "sprint backlog" is a list of specific tasks the team commits to completing during a single sprint, essentially the plan for that sprint, while an "increment" is the actual piece of working functionality or value delivered at the end of that sprint, representing the progress made towards the overall product goal

❤SO MUCH WRONG 1. What is an 'ongoing project'? By definition projects are finite. 2. Project management has NEVER been defined by a life-cycle, there is WAY more to PM than that 3. Agility must apply to the whole of project management not just the life-cycle 4. Projects can choose ANY appropriate life-cycle. It makes NO sense to restrict project agility ONLY for those with iterative life-cycles 5. Some of the content confuses software development and project management.....they are different 6. Iteration does not even define agile development although it is common, the Agile Manifesto does not mention iteration. My advice is that if you hear or see the phrase 'waterfall project management' run a mile. Its complete rubbish. I have 35 years in projects in many sectors and have written a book on Agile PM.

Respectful Greetings! Wrike Channel. Question: What is the Project Baseline? A Project Baseline is a fixed reference point used to compare Project Performance over time. Project baselines are used by project managers to understand how project scope, schedule, and cost are progressing through the completion of a project. Whether your org company sprints, hours, days, or weeks, your project baseline needs a schedule. A complete schedule has a start date, end date and the elapsed time between (duration). Many teams label project end dates with nice qualifiers like “projected” or “estimated.” The nice thing about a project baseline is that we do not deal in uncertainty. Setting the schedule on day one is a requirement to use the baseline effectively. Request: I request Project Baseline Examples for my better understanding. Many thanks to your Team! Luís Van-Dúnem
