It's not that yokai aren't "bad" it's that good intentions from a place of suffering are easily corrupted, Turbo granny is a real urban legend and we learn that she's tied to young women that were sexually assaulted, she's an embodiment of their wish to 1 be ugly and undesirable and 2 fast enough to run away, we see turbo granny save momo from the Serpoians in the first episode and she bites their crotches off and takes Okaruns weenie, her good intentions have been eroded over time and now she's just a sawed off shotgun firing at anything nearby. There are other examples of this in the story that you'll see but for the most part yokai are all born from tragedy.

The way the story ups the ante in fights is so satisfying. They plan to train to fight turbo granny, but she curses Seiko forcing them to fight her tonight, granny traps them in the tunnel, so they try to use telekinesis to fight her, she eats the bats with her eyes, they try to use the power of the curse to fight, she removes the curse from okarun, she goes to eat them, Momo taunts turbo granny's ability to run, momo tells her to count to 10 minutes, turbo granny "counts" in her cheap fashion and captures momo, Okarun bites turbo granny's saggy boobs and she can't repel him because of his clothes from Seiko so she has to possess him, because she possesses him Momo can sense her spirit in his body so she can restrain her, because she's restrained she calls for the location bound spirit to help, the location bound spirit forces them to run, they have to use an "all out" to get away from it, Momo steams the crab so turbo granny calls for spirits of the dead to possess nearby people, they have to use another all out to get away again, turbo granny slips out of Okarun so she's able to fuse with the location bound spirit, Momo hitches a ride on the train to escape the turbo granny crab, turbo granny crab catches up but momo keeps her from running away as the train drags them outside of Shono city which allows Seiko's wards to destroy turbo granny and the location bound spirit. All in one episode.

I loved your insight on this! You should listen to more Xdinary Heroes! My favorites are Money On My Mind (watch the live performance on this, Junhan goes CRAZY with the solo), Feeling Nice (the live is good, but the bass is too quiet so I’d recommend the lyric video for this one), and Xymphony (watch the live 100%, Jungsu’s amazing keyboard skills are way better heard on the live performance video.)

fun fact: There’s actually no autotune in this song, it’s a vocoder similar to what’s used in the intro of “let’s groove” by earth, wind and fire. Not to the same extreme but they’re practically the same thing, ones just way more heavy than the other

You know, Kanami isn't your usual guitarist with insane techniques or precision (reactors often praise her for her precisision but I tend to disagree on that). But Kanami's style is unmistakable. She's different. I love her quirky playing style and each member's distinctive style as well.
@johndoe-wt6sy19 күн бұрын
SAKURA from HAGANE and Midori & Miyako from Lovebites are, of course, excellent guitar players and, in terms of technique alone, there's no doubt that they're better than BAND-MAID's Kanami. However, Kanami has been writing good songs for the band for over 10 years and is working hard to increase the sense of unity as a band. I believe that reactor's mission is to introduce a wide variety of good songs to everyone, so it's probably not healthy to focus too much on BAND-MAID. That said, BAND-MAID has a long history and there are still many works by Kanami, who is also an excellent composer. I hope that you will continue to enjoy BAND-MAID's journey for a long time to come.😊

The anime is about an animator getting transferred to Isekai, and survives using her animation skills😊 Also, the purple hoodie person in this MV, is the animator 😅

Interesting. I am not too familiar with terms used in anime. Isekai i believe means a normal person being sent to a super natural world? My interpretation to defying fatalism i can see in a way coincides with the anime. Surviving through drawing reminds me of a childhood show called chalkzone

@TlanImass19 күн бұрын
Agree. To add: normally the songs will always be in multiple episodes so I will skip them after awhile until new songs are introduced. In Band-Maid’s case, I’ve never skipped any of their OP or ED. 😂 They’re worth the extra 1:30 every time.

I love this song, Hagane was good before and is amazing now. Sakura and Junna are an excellent match, they both play with such speed, precision and intensity. Nagi is fantastic. I liked how Sayaka's bass seems more elevated in the mix and prominent, it really adds to the song. The video is cheesy and low budget, but it's cheerful and let's the ladies showcase their amazing skills. Junna dropped her drumstick at 2.56, I wouldn't be surprised if she finished that shoot with just the left stick going twice as fast...😎

Hi there. :) Would you like to react to some more Visual Kei? If I correctly, last time you were thinking if Visual Kei means dark aestherics, so I would like to show you something different than Dexcore, Jiluka and The Gazette. If you can, please react to band 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera) and their song "真っ白な闇がすべてを塗り替えても" (Masshiro na Yami ga Subete wo Nurikaete mo), it's symphonic speed metal band, so quite happy and energetic in sound, also visually nothing dark, at least in this video. I hope you will react to it. ;)

It's great that you like HAGANE this much 👍 Thanks for the reaction! Did you know that Nagi started her own youtube channel? Check it out, she sings live there, I mean without post editions, at least in my opinion🔥 As for Junna, I love her, watched her long before HAGANE, she has a very contrasting personality. She can be a little shy at times, be cute and be wild ( when she is behind drum set)). Watch her other social accounts. It's wonderful that Sakura was able to invite her. I didn't know about HAGANE, just watched recommended video, saw JUNNA and started to dig them further and fell in love with the new line up. Sakura is highly skilled herself. Their combination with JUNNA is absolutely insane, overflow of energy ⚡⚡⚡ Sayaka is a little uptight but sure is skilled as well, I like her bass solo. Would be perfect if we could see one day Sakura and Sayaka duel, like Misa and Kanami did xD

Thank you for your accurate comments from Japan. ATARASHII GAKKO! is celebrating its 10th debut anniversary this year. The group's concept is "breaking out with individuality and freedom in an intolerant society," so their attitude is punk. Their early songs were often jazz-rock pieces themed around school life, but recently, their music has been a fusion of rock, punk, and hip-hop. The content usually consists of songs encouraging us when we feel overwhelmed in an intolerant society. For songs with heavy rap elements, check out "FlyHigh" and "Change."

MTH is one of my favorite metal bands. Can't recommend more of them enough. Atarashii gakko is wild, and one of the few pop groups I like, largely because most of their songs sound almost nothing like their other songs. My favorite song from them is titled Seishuun Wo Kirisaku Hado. It's got kind of an old school 90's hip hop/rock vibe thay reminds me a lot of the beastie boys, and I think they kill it.
@KenjaTimu29 күн бұрын
Otona Blue is unlike every other Atarashii Gakko song. Their early stuff was Jazz Fusion. Lately they've been working with a producer for the Beastie Boys and a lot of their songs sound like the Beastie Boys. Especially Toyko Calling.

I am a total metalhead and love AG and there are quite a few of us out there. They have never ever really done metal but have many songs with cool ass drum and guitar solos that are a mixture of harder rock and jazz with pop thrown in. My personal favorite is Koi Geba which also has a somber topic of inappropriate teacher student relationships, the video is very good.

Power Metal bring you a joyful, a bravely, a feeling of victory or become a hero in a way of adventure, in fantasy world where you fight a dragon, slay demon and evils, etc. Also this is actually "Symphonic Power Metal" where Power Metal + some of synth, piano, opera choir, etc. with harmonic sounding, become a angelic, god feeling In this song, its theme is about knights and Dracula nobles, a prince fall in love with princess, rose represent for love, etc.

Babymetal just started a radio show in Japan on Saturday nights (the first one was yesterday). Next week is their first episode with guests, and it will be Atarashi Gakko. Maximum the Hormone is not afraid of using different genres if it will work. On the same single that this song came out on, they did another song with an artist called Ano, who sounds like a kawaii anime character (and plays one on tv) and that has parts which are EDM.
