Fill ins with the right hand. Some songs have such long counts like 4 or 5 counts and you don't know how to fill in those. I know runs but I don't like to just run chords up the piano because sometimes you need to it back down to a lower chord and I don't know how.

Good for the ear but hard for the finger for a beginner like me... Wish we got to learn simple fills.

I actually thought fillers were really intuitive (that said I'm self taught and play more by ear than music) but I didn't know *why* they existed til now: as a cue for the singers or to help you keep time on the long notes. I personally really like the gospelly one where they go to the subdominant of the held chord and adding the 7 when it's a dominant chord. I genuinely thought fillers and embellishments were just to sound cool

I need help with the melody, which note do you play? Since there are two notes stacked on the stem do you play both together or only the top note? Sorry for the question, I’m barely learning how to play… thanks

It’s rare for me to find Christmas arrangements I love, but this is just perfection! Love the creative but traditional style, and it’s a joy to play. I will be playing this at a Christmas party next week. I will definitely check out more of your work. :)
