Samyang and Rokinon are the same brand. Samyang is for Asia and Rokinon for America (the continent). The 8mm f3.5 fisheye is actually a lens for APS-C sensor. They do have a 12 mm f2.8 fisheye.

Thanks for the comparison, Nikon 10.5 is my favourite from the bunch. Could You do canon lenses as well

That would be a great lens to compare in a video like this. I personally use nikon bodies so that's why it didn't make it into this video. I would venture to guess the nikon 8-15mm is pretty close to the canon but depending on what body it's on

zoom fish!?! idk, you can zoom in and i'm sure at least for a bit it will be relatively sharp depending on how u set the focus in the first place.

Yes most fisheye clips and lines we used the T-Handle. Unfortunately as of now it’s discontinued.

Not familiar with the 12 but I would assume it’s not nearly as wide, if that’s what your looking for.

Wow need too say the filming was really nice i liked the clip alot! I got an Nikon FC E9 fisheye and need a protector, do I buy the mk1 or mk2 version?

@@TadashiFilters The FC-E9 is prety much the same fisheye like the century mk1 and mk2 its not a DSLR fisheye if you are thinking of the nikkor lenses. I have Googled some and found info that the fisheye is 101mm in size of the glas and that mk1 is 112mm, cant find size for MK2 fisheye do you have any size info on the fisheye protector?

@@sergiovardoni1227 Yeah that fisheye looks similarly shaped and size as the mk1 & 2, think your best bet would be to buy whichever filter you think will fit and I'll take a return if it doesn't fit.

I have just bought a Rokinon (Samyang) 8mm fisheye and put it through an adapter on my Olympus camera. For some reason, I can't get too close to the skater or it seems like too much of the image goes out of frame. I'm used to following the skater super close and it always looking good, or in frame. Does anyone know if this has to do with my camera? Or is there something else I am missing here?

an idea for you insta 360 ONE rs 1 inch . . . . . there are no ND filter on the market , I will make my own one, using polycarbonate lens meant for sunglasses and 3d printing something for it to slap on the camera, but if you have the mean to manufacture something in scale , tthe market has a void that need to be fill XD
