Hi from Tampa! Saw your garden on Dig Plant Water Repeat. It was nice to finally see a Florida Gardner. I am also a garden newbie in Tampa and yearn for those California gardens. Seems there is nothing they can’t grow. I struggle with the southern sun in my backyard.. difficult for even the hardiest of plants to put up with that hot afternoon sun. I am also looking at planting some Florida natives. While I would love to have a cottage garden, I know it will be difficult. I am adapting ideas from another Florida gardener…her channel is Construction Landscape. Your garden is looking lovely!

Yes! I was getting kinda impatient for these but our temps hadn't come up yet. I planted them as soon as they arrived and they are doing great!

Sadly, the avocado wasn't healing, so I dug it up and moved it to the greenhouse for TLC. Check my other videos to see what went in its place!
