I heard this first time in end of 70’s from vinyl double album. I was amazed by that time and still I am. Never get bored to listen, always gives me chills.

Perhaps the most passionate solo I've ever heard by anyone, any instrument. This is what the pain and glory of love sounds like.

Perfection. Not just Pagey, but Bonzo and Jonesy too. A masterclass in how to jam and compliment each other in a live setting. The same goes for the whole 'The Song Remains The Same' soundtrack that this is taken from. Outstanding. Thank god I got to see them live. Amazing band. And let's not forget Percy's contributions.

Those who have witnessed Jimmy live [69-73] know how awesome he is. Not from record and not from KZbin but really live back in the day.

I so love Jimmy Page, and will til my dying day. I once asked God: God, I will give you my left nut, if you can make me play guitar like Jimmy Page! God replied, "Samuel, you can keep your nuts. I'll just make you funny." :)

I know I am late to the game, but want to add that, as a life-long guitarist, two things: Jimmy Page is the reason I picked up the instrument, and this is my favorite solo of all he's produced, and I challenge all the asswipes who say he's "sloppy" to listen to this.

This song 🎵 👌 really brings me back to my youth when I just graduated high school . It's brilliant 👏 😊😊

This really is the best solo at least I think it is . Who else thinks so ? He's right on with his music although my husband thinks Jimmy Page was a sloppy guitar player . We saw Led Zeppelin in the early years around 1978. Now it's 2024 and he really was brilliant 👏 😀 I like his body of work in all their music 🎶 🎵. I like his style and sound he delivers with every guitar 🎸 🎶 he uses in their music. Their music lives on! Who's listening in 2024?

I’m just a complete stranger on KZbin but your video was randomly recommended to me, and it shattered me. I am deeply sorry about the loss of your brother, just know he’s in good hands with God and he’ll always still be around in spirit. Hope you’re doing ok, god bless 🙏💙🕊

This is the better version of the solo, like the one on the old cassette, the one they play on pandora and elsewhere is crappy compared to it,

I've never really stuck on led zeppelin, I know blasphemy, always been a Pink Floyd man, until I learned most of the legends from 50s to present day especially this era of rock they have a lot of the same habits as guitarists, most of these solos are within or just outside the 1st position boxes and minor pentatonic boxes 5 or 6 or 7 note scales. This dramatically narrows the learning process right down to rythum and slamming it with the drummer.
